[Machine] I followed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so he ordered a sheep to be cooked for me. He took my mustache hair with a blade attached to a siwak (tooth stick) and started to trim it with it. Then, Bilal came to inform him of the prayer, so he threw the blade and told him, "May your hands be blessed." He said, "And my mustache had done its duty." He then narrated the story to me.  

الطبراني:١٨٢٥٦ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ أَبِي صَخْرَةَ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي عَقِيلٍ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ

ضِفْتُ لِرَسُولِ الله ﷺ فَأَمَرَ لِي بِجَنْبٍ فَشُوِي وَأَخَذَ مِنْ شَارِبِي عَلَى سِوَاكٍ بِالشَّفْرَةِ فَجَعَلَ يَجُزُّ بِهَا مِنْهُ فَجَاءَ بِلَالٌ يُؤْذِنُهُ بِالصَّلَاةِ فَأَلْقَى الشَّفْرَةَ وَقَالَ لَهُ «تَرِبَتْ يَدَاكَ» قَالَ وَكَانَ شَارِبِي قَدْ وَفَي فَقَصَّهُ عَلَيَّ

In the meantime Bilal came and called him for prayer. He threw the knife and said: What happened! may his hands be smeared with earth! He then stood for offering prayer. Al-Anbari added: My moustaches became lengthy. He trimmed them by placing a took-stick; or he said: I shall trim your moustaches by placing the tooth-stick there. Al-Anbari said: My moustaches became lengthy. He trimmed them by placing a tooth-stick ; or he said: I shall trim your moustaches by placing the tooth-stick there.
