[Machine] He came to the Prophet ﷺ wearing a worn-out garment, and the Prophet ﷺ asked him, "Do you have any wealth?" He replied, "Yes, Allah has given me wealth from every type." The Prophet ﷺ asked, "From which type of wealth?" He replied, "Allah has given me wealth from horses and slaves." Then the Prophet ﷺ said to him, "If Allah has given you wealth, then let the traces of His blessings and generosity be evident on you."  

الطبراني:١٦٧٢١a – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا أَبِي ثنا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِي ثَوْبٍ دُونٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَلَكَ مَالٌ؟» قَالَ نَعَمْ قَدْ آتَانِي اللهُ مِنْ كُلِّ الْمَالِ قَالَ «مِنْ أَيِّ الْمَالِ؟» قَالَ آتَانِي اللهُ مِنَ الْخَيْلِ وَالرَّقِيقِ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «إِذَا آتَاكَ اللهُ مَالًا فَلْيُرَ عَلَيْكَ أَثَرُ نِعْمَتِهِ وَكَرَامَتِهِ»

That he came to the Prophet [SAW] wearing shabby clothes. The Prophet [SAW] said to him: "Do you have any wealth?" He said: "Yes, all kinds of wealth." He said: "What kinds of wealth?" He said: "Allah has given me camels, cattle, sheep, horses and slaves." He said: "If Allah has given you wealth, then let the effect of Allah's blessing and generosity be seen on you."

I came to the Prophet ﷺ wearing a poor garment and he said (to me): Have you any property? He replied: Yes. He asked: What kind is it? He said: Allah has given me camels. Sheep, horses and slaves. He then said: When Allah gives you property, let the mark of Allah's favour and honour to you be seen.  

أبو داود:٤٠٦٣ – حَدَّثَنَا النُّفَيْلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي الأَحْوَصِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِي ثَوْبٍ دُونٍ فَقَالَ أَلَكَ مَالٌ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ مِنْ أَىِّ الْمَالِ قَالَ قَدْ أَتَانِيَ اللَّهُ مِنَ الإِبِلِ وَالْغَنَمِ وَالْخَيْلِ وَالرَّقِيقِ قَالَ فَإِذَا أَتَاكَ اللَّهُ مَالاً فَلْيُرَ أَثَرُ نِعْمَةِ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكَ وَكَرَامَتِهِ
