مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Verily, the likeness of a believer is like that of a palm tree, it does not shed its leaves."  

الطبراني:١٣٢٩٣حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ثنا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِ مَثَلُ شَجَرَةٍ لَا يَسْقُطُ وَرَقُهَا النَّخْلَةُ»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Verily, the example of a believer is like a tree that does not shed its leaves, so what is it?" They said, "We do not know." I intended to say, "It is the date palm tree," but I felt shy. Then the Prophet ﷺ said, "It is the date palm tree."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ مَثَلَ الْمُؤْمِنِ مَثَلُ شَجَرَةٍ لَا يَسْقُطُ وَرَقُهَا فَمَا هِيَ؟ قَالَ فَقَالُوا وَقَالُوا فَلَمْ يُصِيبُواوَأَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَقُولَ هِيَ النَّخْلَةُ فَاسْتَحْيَيْتُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ هِيَ النَّخْلَةُ
