[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed two units of prayer and Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman shared the leadership with him.  

الطبراني:١٣٢٦٠حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْحُلْوَانِيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّاقِدُ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

«صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ شَطْرًا مِنْ إِمَارَتِهِ»

I offered the prayer with the Prophet, Abu Bakr and ʿUmar at Mina and it was of two rakʿat. ʿUthman in the early days of his caliphate did the same, but later on he started praying the full prayer.

Messenger of Allah ﷺ offered a two-rakʿat prayer at Mina. Abu Bakr, ʿUmar and ʿUthman, (during the early years of his caliphate) followed the same practice.
