[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded the stoning of Ma'iz bin Malik, they brought him and informed him that they had already done it. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He has indeed repented with a repentance that if the companion of Makhs had committed, it would have been accepted from him."  

الطبراني:١٢١١١حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ ثنا أَبُو شَيْبَةَ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

لَمَّا أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِرَجْمِ مَاعِزِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَتَوْهُ فَأَخْبَرُوهُ أَنَّهُمْ قَدْ فَعَلُوا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَقَدْ تَابَ تَوْبَةً لَوْ تَابَهَا صَاحِبُ مَكْسٍ لَقُبِلَتْ مِنْهُ»
