[Machine] Ibn Abbas: I used to see him squeezing his eyes in the streets of Medina. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled that four conditions of loyalty be fulfilled towards it, and the Prophet ﷺ ruled that loyalty belong to whoever frees it and gives it the choice, so it chose itself and was commanded to observe hijab and give charity. And it was given to Aisha as a gift from it. Aisha asked the Prophet ﷺ about it, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is charity for her and a gift for us."

He said, "The Prophet ﷺ ruled four rulings in her case. Her dependents had stipulated loyalty, so the Prophet ﷺ ruled loyalty for whoever freed her and gave her the option to choose for herself. She chose herself and the Prophet ﷺ commanded her to pay a charity. So she gave some of it to Aisha and she mentioned it to the Prophet ﷺ , so he said, 'It is a charity for her and a gift to us.'"

[Machine] The translation of the given text into English is as follows: "Indeed, the husband of Barirah was a black slave called Mughith. I used to see him following her in the streets of Madinah, squeezing his eyes upon her. Then the Prophet ﷺ settled in regards to him with four rulings: he decreed that a person who frees a slave has the loyalty to choose for him or for her. He commanded her to adhere to that. Hammam, the freed slave woman, said: a set number of days. And he decreed that she must give charity on her behalf. So she gave some of it to Aisha, and she mentioned this to the Prophet ﷺ . He said: it is charity for her, and we have a gift."
