[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was asked about these two Surahs, so he said, "I was told, so I said, say as I said."  

الطبراني:١٠٢١١حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْخِرَقِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِرْدَاسٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ ثنا مَحْبُوبُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ سَيَّارٍ أَبِي الْحَكَمِ عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ سُئِلَ عَنْ هَاتَيْنِ السُّورَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ «قِيلَ لِي فَقُلْتُ فَقُولُوا كَمَا قُلْتُ»

Two sūrahs of seeking protection were for the Prophet ﷺ

bukhari:4976Qutaybah b. Saʿīd > Sufyān > ʿĀṣim And ʿAbdah > Zir b. Ḥubaysh

I asked Ubay b. Kaʿb regarding the two Muʿawwidhāt (Sūrahs of seeking refuge in Allah). He said: I asked the Prophet ﷺ about them and he said, "They are for me and I have ˹recited˺ them." Now, we ˹recite˺ as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ˹recited.˺"  

البخاري:٤٩٧٦حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ وَعَبْدَةَ عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ قَالَ

سَأَلْتُ أُبَىَّ بْنَ كَعْبٍ عَنِ الْمُعَوِّذَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ قِيلَ لِي فَقُلْتُ فَنَحْنُ نَقُولُ كَمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

I asked Ubai bin Kaʿb, "O Abu AlMundhir! Your brother, Ibn Masʿud said so-and-so (i.e., the two Mu'awwidh-at do not belong to the Qur'an)." Ubai said, "I asked Messenger of Allah ﷺ about them, and he said, 'They have been revealed to me, and I have recited them (as a part of the Qur'an)," So Ubai added, "So we say as Messenger of Allah ﷺ has said."

I asked Ubai bin Kaʿb regarding the two Muwwidhat (Surats of taking refuge with Allah). He said, "I asked the Prophet ﷺ about them, He said, 'These two Surats have been recited to me and I have recited them (and are present in the Qur'an).' So, we say as Messenger of Allah ﷺ said (i.e., they are part of the Qur'an." (Using translation from Bukhārī 4976)
