The Prophet ﷺ said, "Every betrayer will have a flag which will be fixed on the Day of Resurrection, and the flag's prominence will be made in order to show the betrayal he committed."

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءٌ يُنْصَبُ لِغَدْرَتِهِ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "For every betrayer (perfidious person), a flag will be raised on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be announced (publicly) 'This is the betrayal (perfidy) of so-and-so, the son of so-and-so.' "

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْغَادِرُ يُرْفَعُ لَهُ لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُقَالُ هَذِهِ غَدْرَةُ فُلاَنِ بْنِ فُلاَنٍ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A flag will be fixed on the Day of Resurrection for every betrayer, and it will be announced (publicly in front of everybody), 'This is the betrayal (perfidy) so-and-so, the son of soand- so."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الْغَادِرَ يُنْصَبُ لَهُ لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَيُقَالُ هَذِهِ غَدْرَةُ فُلاَنِ بْنِ فُلاَنٍ

Allah will set up a flag for every person guilty of breach of faith on the Day of Judgment, and it will be announced: Look, this is the perfidy of so and so.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ الْغَادِرَ يَنْصِبُ اللَّهُ لَهُ لِوَاءً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَيُقَالُ أَلاَ هَذِهِ غَدْرَةُ فُلاَنٍ

There will be a flag for every perfidious person on the Day of Judgment, and it would be said: Here is the perfidy of so and so.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُقَالُ هَذِهِ غَدْرَةُ فُلاَنٍ

There will be for every perfidious person on the Day of Judgment a flag by which he will be recognised. It will be announced: Here is the breach of faith of so and so.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُعْرَفُ بِهِ يُقَالُ هَذِهِ غَدْرَةُ فُلاَنٍ

On the Day of Judgment there will be a flag for every person guilty of the breach of faith. It will be raised in proportion to the extent of his guilt; and there is no guilt of treachery more serious than the one committed by the ruler of men.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُرْفَعُ لَهُ بِقَدْرِ غَدْرِهِ أَلاَ وَلاَ غَادِرَ أَعْظَمُ غَدْرًا مِنْ أَمِيرِ عَامَّةٍ

Ibn ‘Umar reported the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ as saying “A banner will be hoisted for a treacherous man on the Day of Judgment, it will then be announced. This is a treachery of so and so, son of so and so.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الْغَادِرَ يُنْصَبُ لَهُ لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَيُقَالُ هَذِهِ غَدْرَةُ فُلاَنِ بْنِ فُلاَنٍ

“A banner will be set up for every traitor on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be said: ‘This is the treachery of so-and- so.’”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُنْصَبُ لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَيُقَالُ هَذِهِ غَدْرَةُ فُلاَنٍ

“For every traitor a banner will be set up on the Day of Resurrection, commensurate with his treachery.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَلاَ إِنَّهُ يُنْصَبُ لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِقَدْرِ غَدْرَتِهِ

There will be a flag for every perfidious person on the Day of Judgment, and it would be said: Here is the perfidy of so and so. (Using translation from Muslim 1736a)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُقَالُ هَذِهِ غَدْرَةُ فُلَانٍ

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "For every betrayer, there is a banner, and it is said, 'This is the treachery of so-and-so.'"

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءٌ وَيُقَالُ هَذِهِ غَدْرَةُ فُلَانٍ

[AI] From the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , he said that every betrayer will have a flag on the Day of Judgment. Ibn Ja'far said, it is said that this is the betrayal of so-and-so.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَالْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ يُقَالُ هَذِهِ غَدْرَةُ فُلَانٍ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "For every betrayer (perfidious person), a flag will be raised on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be announced (publicly) 'This is the betrayal (perfidy) of so-and-so, the son of so-and-so.' " (Using translation from Bukhārī 6177)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْغَادِرُ يُرْفَعُ لَهُ لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُقَالُ هَذِهِ غَدْرَةُ فُلَانِ بْنِ فُلَانٍ

[AI] On the Day of Judgment, a banner will be raised for the traitor, it will be said, "This is the treachery of so-and-so" from the Prophet, peace be upon him.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يُنْصَبُ لِلْغَادِرِ لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُقَالُ هَذِهِ غَدْرَةُ فُلَانٍ

There will be a flag for every perfidious person on the Day of Judgment, and it would be said: Here is the perfidy of so and so. (Using translation from Muslim 1736a)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُقَالُ هَذِهِ غَدْرَةُ فُلَانٍ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ الْغَادِرَ يَنْصِبُ اللهُ لَهُ لِوَاءً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَيُقَالُ أَلَا هَذِهِ غَدْرَةُ فُلَانٍ

When the people of Medina dethroned Yazid bin Muawiya, Ibn ʿUmar gathered his special friends and children and said, "I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, 'A flag will be fixed for every betrayer on the Day of Resurrection,' and we have given the oath of allegiance to this person (Yazid) in accordance with the conditions enjoined by Allah and His Apostle and I do not know of anything more faithless than fighting a person who has been given the oath of allegiance in accordance with the conditions enjoined by Allah and His Apostle , and if ever I learn that any person among you has agreed to dethrone Yazid, by giving the oath of allegiance (to somebody else) then there will be separation between him and me." [AI] "On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ who said: Indeed, the treacherous person will have a flag on the Day of Judgment and it will be said, 'Behold, this is the treachery of so-and-so.'"

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ لِلْغَادِرِ لِوَاءً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُقَالُ أَلَا هَذِهِ غَدْرَةُ فُلَانٍ

Ibn ‘Umar reported the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ as saying “A banner will be hoisted for a treacherous man on the Day of Judgment, it will then be announced. This is a treachery of so and so, son of so and so. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2756)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ لِلْغَادِرِ لِوَاءً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُقَالُ هَذِهِ غَدْرَةُ فُلَانٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Every betrayer will have a banner on the Day of Resurrection that will be raised according to the magnitude of his betrayal. Behold, there is no betrayer greater in betrayal than the betrayal of a public leader."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُرْفَعُ لَهُ بِقَدْرِ غَدْرَتِهِ أَلَا وَلَا غَادِرَ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ غَدْرَةِ أَمِيرِ عَامَّةٍ

[AI] "Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ, he said: Verily, every betrayer will have a banner on the Day of Judgment according to the extent of his betrayal. Indeed, there is no betrayal greater than that of the ruler of a nation."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أَلَا إِنَّ لِكُلِّغَادِرٍ لِوَاءً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِقَدْرِ غَدْرَتِهِ أَلَا وَلَا غَدْرَ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ إِمَامِ عَامَّةٍ

“A banner will be set up for every traitor on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be said: ‘This is the treachery of so-and- so.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2872)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «يُنْصَبُ لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُقَالُ هَذِهِ غَدْرَةُ فُلَانٍ»

[AI] About the Prophet ﷺ , he said: Every betrayer will have a flag on the Day of Judgment and it will be said, "This is the treachery of so and so who betrayed him." This is mentioned in the sahih hadith of Shu'bah.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُقَالُ هَذِهِ غَدْرَةُ فُلَانٍ أَخْرَجَاهُ فِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ شُعْبَةَ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A flag will be fixed on the Day of Resurrection for every betrayer, and it will be announced (publicly in front of everybody), 'This is the betrayal (perfidy) so-and-so, the son of soand- so." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6178)

"إِنَّ الْغَادِرَ يُنْصَبُ له لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَيُقَالُ: أَلَا هَذِه غَدْرَةُ فُلَانِ بنِ فُلانٍ".

"لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، يُرْفَع لَهُ بِقَدْرِ غَدْرِه، أَلَا ولَا غَادِرَ أَعْظَمُ غَدْرًا مِنْ أَمِير عَامَّةٍ".

"يُنْصَبُ لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءٌ ويَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، فَيَقُولُ: هَذِهِ غَدْرَةُ فُلَانٍ".
