"كانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْزِلُ يَوْمَ الجُمُعَةِ مِنَ المِنْبَرِ فَيَقُومُ مَعَهُ الرَّجلُ فَيُكَلِّمُهُ فِى الحَاجَةِ ثُمَّ يَنْتَهِى إِلَى مُصَلاهُ فَيُصَلِّى".

He would remain standing with him until his need was fulfilled. Then he would stand and pray. Abu Dawud said: This tradition is not well known from the narrator Thabit. Jarir b. Hazim is the only narrator of this tradition.

ذِكْرُ الْإِبَاحَةِ لِلْإِمَامِ إِذَا نَزَلَ الْمِنْبَرَ يُرِيدُ إِقَامَةَ الصَّلَاةِ أَنْ يَشْتَغِلَ بِبَعْضِ رَعِيَّتِهِ فِي حَاجَةٍ يَقْضِيَهَا لَهُ، ثُمَّ يُقِيمُ الصَّلَاةَ
