I saw the Apostle ﷺ would descend from the pulpit and a man stop him for his need. He would remain standing with him until his need was fulfilled. Then he would stand and pray. Abu Dawud said: This tradition is not well known from the narrator Thabit. Jarir b. Hazim is the only narrator of this tradition.

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَنْزِلُ مِنَ الْمِنْبَرِ فَيَعْرِضُ لَهُ الرَّجُلُ فِي الْحَاجَةِ فَيَقُومُ مَعَهُ حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ حَاجَتَهُ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيُصَلِّي

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would come down from the minbar and a man would come to him and speak to him, then the Prophet ﷺ would listen to him until he gave him an answer, then he would go to his place of prayer and pray."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَنْزِلُ عَنِ الْمِنْبَرِ فَيَعْرِضُ لَهُ الرَّجُلُ فَيُكَلِّمُهُ فَيَقُومُ مَعَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ حَاجَتَهُ ثُمَّ يَتَقَدَّمُ إِلَى مُصَلاَّهُ فَيُصَلِّي

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to descend from the pulpit on Fridays and a man would speak to him about his need and he would speak to him. Then he would proceed to his mosque and pray.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْزِلُ مِنَ الْمِنْبَرِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَيُكَلِّمُهُ الرَّجُلُ فِي الْحَاجَةِ فَيُكَلِّمُهُ ثُمَّ يَتَقَدَّمُ إِلَى مُصَلَّاهُ فَيُصَلِّي

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ used to meet a man after he descended from the pulpit on Fridays, converse with him, and then enter into prayer.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَعْرِضُ لَهُ الرَّجُلُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ بَعْدَمَا يَنْزِلُ مِنَ الْمِنْبَرِ فَيُكَلِّمُهُ ثُمَّ يَدْخُلُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ

[AI] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ descending from the pulpit, and a man came to him with a need. He stood with him until he fulfilled his need."

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَنْزِلُ عَنِ الْمِنْبَرِ فَيَعْرِضُ لَهُ الرَّجُلُ فِي الْحَاجَةِ فَيَقُومُ مَعَهُ حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ حَاجَتَهُ»

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to descend from the pulpit and the prayer would be established. Then a person would come and talk to him about a need, and he would stand with him until he fulfilled his need, then he would move forward and perform the prayer."

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَنْزِلُ مِنَ الْمِنْبَرِ فَتُقَامُ الصَّلَاةُ فَيَجِيءُ إِنْسَانٌ فَيُكَلِّمُهُ فِي حَاجَةٍ فَيَقُومُ مَعَهُ حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ حَاجَتَهُ ثُمَّ يَتَقَدَّمُ فَيُصَلِّي»

قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَنْزِلُ مِنَ الْمِنْبَرِ يوم الجمعة فيكلمه الرجل في الحاجة إلاَّ مصلاه
