"أنَّ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ : بَعَثَ بِبَراءَة مَعَ أَبِى بَكرٍ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ (* * *) فَدَعَاهُ، فَبَعَثَ عَليًا، فَقَالَ: لاَ يُبَلِّغُهَا إِلاَّ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أهْلِ بَيْتِى".

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent with a letter along with Abu Bakr to the people of Makkah. Then he called him and sent with it Ali. He said, 'Only a man from my family should deliver it.'"

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent Abu Bakr As-Siddiq with a message. When he reached Dhul-Hulayfah, he said, "Nobody should convey this message except me or a person from my household." So he sent it with Ali."

"The Prophet ﷺ sent Abu Bakr with the (announcement of) Bara'ah (the declaration to publicize the disavowal of the idolaters). Then he summoned him and said: 'It is not right for anyone to convey this except a man among my family.'"So he called for 'Ali and gave it to him." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3090)
