"عَنْ أنَس: أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيّا بَالَ فِى المَسْجِدِ فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ بَعْض القَوْم قَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ : دَعُوهُ لا تُزْرِمُوهُ (*)، فَدَعَا بِذَنُوب مِنْ مَاء فَصَبَّهُ عَلَى بَوْلِهِ".

A bedouin urinated in the mosque and the people ran to (beat) him. Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not interrupt his urination (i.e. let him finish)." Then the Prophet ﷺ asked for a tumbler of water and poured the water over the place of urine.

A Bedouin urinated in the mosque. Some of the persons stood up (to reprimand him or to check him from doing so), but the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Leave him alone; don't interrupt him. He (the narrator) said: And when he had finished, he called for a bucket of water and poured it over.  

مسلم:٢٨٤aوَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

"Leave him and do not restrain him." When he had finished he called for a bucket (of water) and poured it over it. [1] Abu 'Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasa'i) said: "Meaning: 'Do not interrupt him.'" [1]The author will cite this narration again in No. 330 as a possible proof for setting the minimum, since it mentions "a bucket" as if this is the minium amount required.
