" عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ وَسُعْدَى وَلَدَىْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ أُسَيْدِ بْنِ ظُهَيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِمَا، عَنْ جَدِّهِمَا قَالَ: اسْتَصْغَرَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ رَافِعَ بْنَ خُدَيْجٍ يَوْم أُحُدٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ عَمُهُ ظُهَيرٌ: يَارَسُولَ اللهِ! إِنَّهُ رَجُلٌ رَامٍ فَأَجَازَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَصَابَهُ سَهْمٌ فِى لَبَّتِهِ فَجَاءَ بِهِ عَمُّهُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ ابْنَ أخِى أَصَابَهُ سَهْم فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ : إِن أَحْبَبْتَ أَنْ تُخْرِجَهُ أَخْرَجْنَاهُ، وَإنْ أَحْبَبْتَ أَنْ تَدَعَهُ فَإِنَّهُ إِنْ مَاتَ وَهُوَ فِيه مَاتَ شَهِيدًا ".

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked Rafi' ibn Khadeejah, "O Messenger of Allah, he is a man seeking martyrdom." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted him permission, and he was struck by an arrow in his collarbone. His uncle brought him to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "My nephew has been hit by an arrow." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If you want, we can take it out, and if you want, we can leave it, for if he dies with it, he will die as a martyr."  

الطبراني:٥٦٩ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْقَرْمَطِيُّ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ مِنْ وَلَدِ عَامِرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْعُثْمَانِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ التَّيْمِيُّ ثنا بَشِيرُ بْنُ ثَابِتِ بْنِ أُسَيْدِ بْنِ ظُهَيْرٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنِي أَيْضًا عَنْ أُخْتِهِ سُعْدَى بِنْتِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِمَا ثَابِتٍ عَنْ جَدِّهِمَا أُسَيْدِ بْنِ ظُهَيْرٍ ؓ قَالَ
