"لَقِىَ عُمرُ بنُ الْخَطَّاب أَسْماءَ بِنْت عُمَيسٍ فَقَالَ: نِعْمَ القَومُ أَنْتُم لَوْلَا أَنَّنا سَبَقْناكُم بالْهِجْرَةِ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِى ﷺ ، فَقَالَ: بلى لكُم الهِجْرةُ مَرَّتَين، هِجْرَةٌ إلىَ أَرْضِ الحَبَشَةِ، وَهِجْرَةُ المَدِينَةِ".

[Machine] "Yes, you are a good people, if not for the fact that you preceded with the hijrah," she said. "You were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , carrying your man and teaching your ignorant, and we fled for our religion. I will not return until I mention this to the Prophet ﷺ ," she returned to him and said to him. The Prophet ﷺ said to her, "Rather, the hijrah is for you twice: your hijrah to Medina and your hijrah to Abyssinia."  

أحمد:١٩٥٢٤حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنِ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى أَنَّ أَسْمَاءَ لَمَّا قَدِمَتْ لَقِيَهَا عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ فِي بَعْضِ طُرُقِ الْمَدِينَةِ فَقَالَ آلْحَبَشِيَّةُ هِيَ؟ قَالَتْ نَعَمْ فَقَالَ

نِعْمَ الْقَوْمُ أَنْتُمْ لَوْلَا أَنَّكُمْ سَبَقْتُمْ بِالْهِجْرَةِ فَقَالَتْ هِيَ لِعُمَرَ كُنْتُمْ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَحْمِلُ رَاجِلَكُمْ وَيُعَلِّمُ جَاهِلَكُمْ وَفَرَرْنَا بِدِينِنَا أَمَا إِنِّي لَا أَرْجِعُ حَتَّى أَذْكُرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَرَجَعَتْ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَتْ لَهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بَلْ لَكُمُ الْهِجْرَةُ مَرَّتَيْنِ هِجْرَتُكُمْ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ وَهِجْرَتُكُمْ إِلَى الْحَبَشَةِ
