السيوطي:٦٣٥٦a –

"إِنَّ أَوَّلَ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ خِيَارُهُمْ وآخِرهَا شِرَارُهُمْ، مُخْتَلِفِينَ متَفَرِّقِينَ فَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمنُ باللَّهِ والْيومُ الآخر فَلْتأته مَنيَّتُهُ وَهو يأتى إِلَى النَّاس مَا يُحِبُّ أنْ يُؤْتَى إِلَيه".

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, the best among this Ummah are its first and its last, who are different and separated. So whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him meet his end while he is doing what he loves to be given to him."  

الطبراني:١٠٥١٧ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا خَلِيفَةُ بْنُ خَيَّاطٍ وَماهرُ بْنُ نُوحٍ قَالَا ثنا الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ ثنا عَوْنُ بْنُ أَبِي رَاشِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ رَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ
