[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The angels sit on the doors of the mosque on Friday, holding scrolls in which they record the people. When the Imam comes out, the scrolls are folded. I said: O Abu Umamah, is there no Friday for those who come after the Imam? He said: Indeed there is, but their names are not recorded in the scrolls.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تَقْعُدُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ عَلَى أَبْوَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ مَعَهُمُ الصُّحُفُ يَكْتُبُونَ النَّاسَ فَإِذَا خَرَجَ الْإِمَامُ طُوِيَتِ الصُّحُفُ قُلْتُ يَا أَبَا أُمَامَةَ لَيْسَ لِمَنْ جَاءَ بَعْدَ خُرُوجِ الْإِمَامِ جُمُعَةٌ؟ قَالَ بَلَى وَلَكِنْ لَيْسَ مِمَّنْ يُكْتَبُ فِي الصُّحُفِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "On Friday, the angels are sent to the doors of the mosque to write down those who come first. When the Imam ascends the pulpit, the scrolls are rolled up."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «تُبْعَثُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِلَى أَبْوَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَيَكْتُبُونَ الْأَوَّلَ فَالْأَوَّلَ فَإِذَا صَعِدَ الْإِمَامُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ طُوِيَتِ الصُّحُفُ»
