"إِنَّ الْفُحْشَ، والتَّفَحُّشَ لَيْسَا مِنَ الإِسْلَام فِى شَئٍ، وَإنَّ أحْسَنَ النَّاسِ إِسْلَامًا أحْسَنُهُم خُلُقًا ".
Obscenity and vulgarity are not part of Islam
I was in a gathering with the Prophet ﷺ and Abū Samurah was in front of me. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, obscenity and vulgarity are not part of Islam. Verily, the best people in Islam are those with the best character."
كُنْتُ فِي مَجْلِسٍ فِيهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ قَالَ وَأَبِي سَمُرَةُ جَالِسٌ أَمَامِي فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «إِنَّ الْفُحْشَ وَالتَّفَحُّشَ لَيْسَا مِنَ الْإِسْلَامِ، وَإِنَّ أَحْسَنَ النَّاسِ إِسْلَامًا أَحْسَنُهُمْ خُلُقًا.»
عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ
[Machine] I was in the company of the Prophet ﷺ , Samurah, and Abu Umamah. He said, "Verily, obscenity and impudence have no place in Islam. The best of people in Islam are those with the best manners."
كُنْتُ فِي مَجْلِسِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَسَمُرَةُ وَأَبُو أُمَامَةَ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ الْفُحْشَ وَالتَّفَحُّشَ لَيْسَا مِنَ الْإِسْلَامِ فِي شَيْءٍ وَإِنَّ أَحْسَنَ النَّاسِ إِسْلَامًا أَحَاسِنُهُمْ أَخْلَاقًا»
