ahmad:6704 – Hushaym > Ḥajjāj > ʿAmr b. Shuʿayb from his father from his grandfather

[Machine] Al-As ibn Wa'il had vowed during the pre-Islamic period to sacrifice a hundred camels, and Hisham ibn Al-As sacrificed his share of fifty camels. 'Amr asked the Prophet ﷺ about this, and he replied, 'As for your father, if he had affirmed monotheism, then fasting and giving charity on his behalf would benefit him.'

أحمد:٦٧٠٤ – حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ
