السيوطي:٤٢٠-١٦٦b

"عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ زَوْجَ بَريرَةَ كَانَ عَبْدًا لِبَنِى فُلان، نَاس مِنَ الأنْصَار، يُقَالُ لَهُ: مُغيثُ، والله لَكَأَنِّى أَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ الآنَ، يَتَّبِعهَا في سِكَك الْمَدِينَة وَهُوَ يَبْكى، فَكَلَّمَ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ بَرَيْرةَ أَنْ تَرْجِعَ إِلَى زَوْجهَا، فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ الله: أَتَأمُرنِى بِذَلِكَ؟ فَقَالَ: إِنَّما شَفِيعٌ لَهُ، فَقَالَتْ: لا، واللهِ لا أَرْجِعُ إِلَيْه أَبَدًا".

[Machine] "The husband of Barira was a slave to a group of people called Al-Ansar, known as Mughith. By Allah, it is as if I can see him now, following her in the streets of Medina, while he is crying."
