" عَنْ عليٍّ قَالَ: مَاتَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الصُّفَّةِ وَتَرَكَ دِينَارَيْنِ، أوْ دِرْهَمَيْنِ، فَقَالَ رسُول الله ﷺ : " صَلُّواَ عَلَى صَاحِبِكُمْ ".
I heard ʿAli ؓ say: A man of Ahlus-Suffah died and left behind two dinars or two dirhams. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿTwo brands of iron; offer the funeral prayer for your companion.ʿ
سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا يَقُولُ مَاتَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الصُّفَّةِ وَتَرَكَ دِينَارَيْنِ أَوْ دِرْهَمَيْنِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ كَيَّتَانِ صَلُّوا عَلَى صَاحِبِكُمْ
