I prohibited you from visiting the graves, but (now) you may visit them, and I prohibited you (from eating) the flesh of sacrific- ed animals beyond three days, but now keep it as long as you like. I prohibited you from the use of Nabidh except (that preoared) in dry waterskins. Now drink (Nabidh prepared in any utensil), but do not drink when it becomes intoxicant.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الأَضَاحِيِّ فَوْقَ ثَلاَثٍ فَأَمْسِكُوا مَا بَدَا لَكُمْ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ النَّبِيذِ إِلاَّ فِي سِقَاءٍ فَاشْرَبُوا فِي الأَسْقِيَةِ كُلِّهَا وَلاَ تَشْرَبُوا مُسْكِرًا

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'I forbade you to visit graves but now visit them; and I forbade you to eat the sacrificial meat after three days, but now keep it as long as you want; and I forbade you to make Nabidh I anything but a water-skin but now drink it from any kind of container, but do not drink intoxicants."'

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الأَضَاحِي فَوْقَ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ فَأَمْسِكُوا مَا بَدَا لَكُمْ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ النَّبِيذِ إِلاَّ فِي سِقَاءٍ فَاشْرَبُوا فِي الأَسْقِيَةِ كُلِّهَا وَلاَ تَشْرَبُوا مُسْكِرًا

" The Messenger of Allah said: 'I used to forbid you from doing three things: to visit graves, but now visit three, for you may benefit from that. And I used to forbid you (from eating) the meat of sacrificial animals after three days but now eat it, and keep whatever you want. A and I forbade you to drink form (certain kinds of) vessels, but now drink form whatever kind of vessel you want but do not drink any kind of intoxicant." (Sahih ) Muhammad (one of the narrators) did not mention: "kept (whatever you want).

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ ثَلاَثٍ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا وَلْتَزِدْكُمْ زِيَارَتُهَا خَيْرًا وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الأَضَاحِي بَعْدَ ثَلاَثٍ فَكُلُوا مِنْهَا وَأَمْسِكُوا مَا شِئْتُمْ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ الأَشْرِبَةِ فِي الأَوْعِيَةِ فَاشْرَبُوا فِي أَىِّ وِعَاءٍ شِئْتُمْ وَلاَ تَشْرَبُوا مُسْكِرًا وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ مُحَمَّدٌ وَأَمْسِكُوا

"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'I used to forbid you to visit graves, but (now) visit them. And I forbade you (to keep) the sacrificial meat for three days, but now keep whatever you wish. And I forbade Nabidh to you, unless it was (made) in a water skin, but now drink from all kinds of vessels but do not drink any intoxicant.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الأَضَاحِي فَوْقَ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ فَأَمْسِكُوا مَا بَدَا لَكُمْ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ النَّبِيذِ إِلاَّ فِي سِقَاءٍ فَاشْرَبُوا فِي الأَسْقِيَةِ كُلِّهَا وَلاَ تَشْرَبُوا مُسْكِرًا

"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'I used to forbid three things to you: Visiting graves, but now visit them, and may visiting them increase you in goodness; and I forbade you (to store) the sacrificial meat for more than three days, but now eat whatever you wish of it. And I forbade to you drinks in (certain kinds of ) vessels, but now drink from whatever vessel you wish, but do not drink any intoxicant.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ ثَلاَثٍ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا وَلْتَزِدْكُمْ زِيَارَتُهَا خَيْرًا وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الأَضَاحِي بَعْدَ ثَلاَثٍ فَكُلُوا مِنْهَا مَا شِئْتُمْ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ الأَشْرِبَةِ فِي الأَوْعِيَةِ فَاشْرَبُوا فِي أَىِّ وِعَاءٍ شِئْتُمْ وَلاَ تَشْرَبُوا مُسْكِرًا

“I used to forbid you to visit the graves, but now visit them, for they remind you of the Hereafter. And I forbade you to drink from (certain type of) vessels, but now drink from them, but avoid everything that causes intoxication. And I forbade you to keep the sacrificial meat after three days, but now keep it as long as you wish.ʿ It was narrated that ‘Ali ؓ said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade visiting graves... and he narrated a similar report, except that he said: ʿand beware of every intoxicant.ʿ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ وَعَنِ الْأَوْعِيَةِوَأَنْ تُحْبَسَ لُحُومُ الْأَضَاحِيِّ بَعْدَ ثَلاثٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا فَإِنَّهَا تُذَكِّرُكُمِ الْآخِرَةَ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ الْأَوْعِيَةِ فَاشْرَبُوا فِيهَا وَاجْتَنِبُوا كُلَّ مَا أَسْكَرَ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ أَنْ تَحْبِسُوهَا بَعْدَ ثَلاثٍ فَاحْبِسُوا مَا بَدَا لَكُمْ

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "I have prohibited you from visiting graves, so visit them. And I have prohibited you from keeping the meat of sacrifices for more than three days, so keep it. And I have prohibited you from using pots, so throw them away. And avoid all intoxicants."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ أَنْ تَحْبِسُوا لُحُومَ الْأَضَاحِيِّ فَوْقَثَلَاثٍ فَاحْبِسُوا وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ الظُّرُوفِ فَانْبِذُوا فِيهَا وَاجْتَنِبُوا كُلَّ مُسْكِرٍ

[AI] To Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri, I set out with him and Abu Sa'id said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: 'Verily, I have prohibited you from eating the meat of sacrificial animals after three days of Eid. So eat and store, for Allah has brought abundance. And I have prohibited you from certain types of drinks and containers, so drink and every intoxicant is forbidden. And I have prohibited you from visiting graves, so if you visit them, do not say anything harsh.'"

إِلَى أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ فَانْطَلَقْتُ مَعَهُ فَقَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنِّي نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ وَادِّخَارِهِ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ فَكُلُوا وَادَّخِرُوا فَقَدْ جَاءَ اللهُ بِالسَّعَةِ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ مِنَ الْأَشْرِبَةِ وَالْأَنْبِذَةِ فَاشْرَبُوا وَكُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَإِنْ زُرْتُمُوهَا فَلَا تَقُولُوا هُجْرًا

[AI] "Where do you want to go, Abu Abdullah?" He said, "I want to go to Abu Said al-Khudri." So I went with him. Then Ibn Umar said, "O Abu Said, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbidding the consumption of sacrificial meat after three days. So eat and save some, for Allah has provided abundance. And I heard him forbidding certain drinks and throwing them away, so drink and know that every intoxicant is forbidden. And I heard him forbidding the visitation of graves, so if you visit them, do not say words of paganism."

لَهُ أَيْنَ تُرِيدُ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ؟ قَالَ أَرَدْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ فَانْطَلَقْتُ مَعَهُ قَالَ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَا أَبَا سَعِيدٍ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْهَى عَنْ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ وَعَنْ أَشْيَاءَ مِنَ الْأَشْرِبَةِ وَعَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ وَقَدْ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّكَ مُحَدِّثٌ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي ذَلِكَ قَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ سَمِعَتْ أُذُنَايَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ إِنِّي نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ أَكْلِ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ فَكُلُوا وَادَّخِرُوا فَقَدْ جَاءَ اللهُ بِالسَّعَةِ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ مِنَ الْأَشْرِبَةِ أَوِ الْأَنْبِذَةِ فَاشْرَبُوا وَكُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَإِنْ زُرْتُمُوهَا فَلَا تَقُولُوا هُجْرًا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade visiting graves, eating the meat of sacrificial animals after three days, drinking intoxicants in containers made of gourd, hollowed stones, varnished pots, and dried animal droppings. He said, "After that, I was forbidden from three things, and then it appeared to me that I forbade you from visiting graves. Then it appeared to me that it softens the heart, brings tears to the eyes, and reminds of the Hereafter, so visit them and do not say anything offensive. And I forbade you from eating the meat of sacrificial animals after three nights, and then it appeared to me that people treat their guests kindly and keep food for their absentees, so keep what you wish. And I forbid you from drinking intoxicants in these vessels, so drink what you wish, but do not drink something that causes intoxication. Whoever wants can pour his drink into a leather skin."

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ وَعَنْ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ وَعَنِ النَّبِيذِ فِي الدُّبَّاءِ وَالنَّقِيرِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ قَالَ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ أَلَا إِنِّي قَدْ كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ ثَلَاثٍ ثُمَّ بَدَا لِي فِيهِنَّ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ ثُمَّ بَدَا لِي أَنَّهَا تُرِقُّ الْقَلْبَ وَتُدْمِعُ الْعَيْنَ وَتُذَكِّرُ الْآخِرَةَ فَزُورُوهَا وَلَا تَقُولُوا هُجْرًا وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ أَنْ تَأْكُلُوهَا فَوْقَ ثَلَاثِ لَيَالٍ ثُمَّ بَدَا لِي أَنَّ النَّاسَ يُتْحِفُونَ ضَيْفَهُمْ وَيُخَبِّئُونَ لِغَائِبِهِمْ فَأَمْسِكُوا مَا شِئْتُمْ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ النَّبِيذِ فِي هَذِهِ الْأَوْعِيَةِ فَاشْرَبُوا بِمَا شِئْتُمْ وَلَا تَشْرَبُوا مُسْكِرًا مَنْ شَاءَ أَوْكَى سِقَاءَهُ عَلَى إِثْمٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited three things: visiting graves, eating the meat of sacrificial animals after three days, and using these pots. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, I forbade you from three things. I forbade you from visiting graves, but then it became clear to me that it softens the hearts and brings tears to the eyes. So visit them, but do not speak in a manner of ignorance. I forbade you from eating the meat of sacrificial animals after three days, but then it became clear to me that people seek their flesh, serve their guests, and give it as a gift to their absent ones. So eat and withhold as you wish. I forbade you from using these pots, so drink from them as you wish. Whoever wants may heat his water with them, but with the condition of not committing sin."

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ ثَلَاثٍ عَنْزِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ وَعَنْ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ وَعَنْ هَذِهِ الْأَنْبِذَةِ فِي الْأَوْعِيَةِ قَالَ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ أَلَا إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ ثَلَاثٍ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ ثُمَّ بَدَا لِي أَنَّهَا تُرِقُّ الْقُلُوبَ وَتُدْمِعُ الْعَيْنَ فَزُورُوهَا وَلَا تَقُولُوا هَجْرًا وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ ثُمَّ بَدَا لِي أَنَّ النَّاسَ يَبْتَغُونَ أَدَمَهُمْ وَيُتْحِفُونَ ضَيْفَهُمْ وَيَرْفَعُونَ لِغَائِبِهِمْ فَكُلُوا وَأَمْسِكُوا مَا شِئْتُمْ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ هَذِهِ الْأَوْعِيَةِ فَاشْرَبُوا فِيمَا شِئْتُمْ مَنْ شَاءَ أَوْكَى سِقَاءَهُ عَلَى إِثْمٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I used to forbid you from visiting graves, but now visit them, for they remind you of the hereafter. And I used to forbid you from drinking wine, so avoid it in every vessel, and stay away from every intoxicant. And I used to forbid you from eating the meat of sacrificial animals after three days, so eat and store."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا؛ فَإِنَّهَا تُذَكِّرُ الْآخِرَةَ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ فَانْتَبِذُوا فِي كُلِّ وِعَاءٍ وَاجْتَنِبُوا كُلَّ مُسْكِرٍ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْأَكْلِ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ فَكُلُوا وَتَزَوَّدُوا وَادَّخِرُوا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "I have forbidden you from three things: visiting graves, keeping the meat of sacrificed animals for more than three days, and using vessels made of animal skins. I have also forbidden you from eating the meat of sacrificed animals in order to provide for those who cannot afford it. So, eat and preserve the meat. Additionally, I have forbidden you from visiting graves, except for the grave of my mother, for whom I have been granted permission to visit. I have also forbidden you from using pottery vessels. Indeed, pots do not make anything permissible or impermissible. Every intoxicant is forbidden."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ ثَلَاثٍ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ وَعَنْ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ أَنْ تُحْبَسَ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ وَعَنِ الْأَوْعِيَةِ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ لِيُوسِعْ ذُو السَّعَةِ عَلَى مَنْ لَا سَعَةَ لَهُ فَكُلُوا وَادَّخِرُوا وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ وَإِنَّ مُحَمَّدًا قَدْ أُذِنَ لَهُ فِي زِيَارَةِ قَبْرِ أُمِّهِ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ الظُّرُوفِ وَإِنَّ الظُّرُوفَ لَا تُحَرِّمُ شَيْئًا وَلَا تُحِلُّهُ وَكُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Rabia ibn Abi Abd ar-Rahman that Abu Said alKhudri returned from a journey and his family gave him some meat. He asked whether it was meat from the sacrifice. They replied that it was. Abu Said said, "Didn't the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbid that?" They said, "There has been a new command from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ since you went away." Abu Said went out and made enquiries about it and was told that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had said,"I forbade you before to eat meat of the sacrifice after three days, but now eat, give sadaqa and store up. I forbade you before to make nabidh (by soaking raisins or dates in water), but now make nabidh, but remember every intoxicant is haram .I forbade you to visit graves, but now visit them, and do not use bad language."

أَنَّهُ قَدِمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ فَقَدَّمَ إِلَيْهِ أَهْلُهُ لَحْمًا فَقَالَ انْظُرُوا أَنْ يَكُونَ هَذَا مِنْ لُحُومِ الأَضْحَى فَقَالُوا هُوَ مِنْهَا فَقَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ أَلَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْهَا فَقَالُوا إِنَّهُ قَدْ كَانَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ بَعْدَكَ أَمْرٌ فَخَرَجَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ فَسَأَلَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَأُخْبِرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الأَضْحَى بَعْدَ ثَلاَثٍ فَكُلُوا وَتَصَدَّقُوا وَادَّخِرُوا وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ الاِنْتِبَاذِ فَانْتَبِذُوا وَكُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا وَلاَ تَقُولُوا هُجْرًا يَعْنِي لاَ تَقُولُوا سُوءًا

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الأَضَاحِي أَنْ تُمْسِكُوهَا فَوْقَ ثَلاثٍ فَأَمْسِكُوهَا مَا بَدَا لَكُمْ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ النَّبِيذِ إلاَّ فِي سِقَاءٍ فَاشْرَبُوا فِي الأَسْقِيَةِ ولاَ تَشْرَبُوا مُسْكِرًا

عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ وعَن لُحُومِ الأَضَاحِي أَنْ يُمْسِكَهَا فَوْقَ ثَلاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ وعَن زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ فَانْتَبِذُوا فِيمَا بَدَا لَكُمْ فَإِنَّ الْوِعَاءَ لَا يُحِلُّ شَيْئًا ولاَ يُحِرِّمُهُ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الأَضَاحِي أَنْ تَحْبِسُوهَا فَوْقَ ثَلاثٍ فَاحْبِسُوهَا مَا بَدَا لَكُمْ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا فَإِنَّهَا تُذَكِّرُ الآخِرَةَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ إلاَّ الْحَارِثُ حَدِيثُ مَرْوَانَ الأَصْفَرِ عَن أَنَس

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "I used to prohibit you from visiting graves, but now I encourage you to visit them, for they remind you of the Hereafter. And I used to prohibit you from passing in front of others, so avoid doing so in every container. Avoid every intoxicating substance. And I used to prohibit you from eating the meat of sacrificial animals after three days, so eat it, stock it up, and preserve it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا فَإِنَّهَا تُذَكِّرُ الْآخِرَةَ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ الْجَرِّ فَانْتَبِذُوا فِي كُلِّ وِعَاءٍ وَاجْتَنِبُوا كُلَّ مُسْكِرٍ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ أَكْلِ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ فَكُلُوا وَتَزَوَّدُوا وَادَّخِرُوا»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "I have forbidden you from visiting graves, so visit them and do not say words of exile. I have also forbidden you from consuming sacrificial meat after three days, so eat it and refrain from it. I have also forbidden you from drinking intoxicating wine, so drink and do not drink to the point of intoxication."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا وَلَا تَقُولُوا هُجْرًا وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِي بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ فَكُلُوا وَأَمْسِكُوا وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ النَّبِيذِ فَاشْرَبُوا وَلَا تَشْرَبُوا مُسْكِرًا»

" The Messenger of Allah said: 'I used to forbid you from doing three things: to visit graves, but now visit three, for you may benefit from that. And I used to forbid you (from eating) the meat of sacrificial animals after three days but now eat it, and keep whatever you want. A and I forbade you to drink form (certain kinds of) vessels, but now drink form whatever kind of vessel you want but do not drink any kind of intoxicant." (Sahih ) Muhammad (one of the narrators) did not mention: "kept (whatever you want). (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4429)

" The Messenger of Allah said: 'I used to forbid you from doing three things: to visit graves, but now visit three, for you may benefit from that. "إِنِّى نَهيتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الأَضاحِى وَادِّخارِها بَعْدَ ثلاثَةِ أَيام فكلوا وَادَّخِرُوا فَقَدْ جَاءَ اللَّه بالسَّعِةِ، وَنَهَيْتَكُمْ عَنْ أَشْياءَ مِنَ الأَشْرِبَةِ والأَنْبذَةِ فاشْرَبُوا، وكلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حرامٌ، وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُرُوها فَإِنَّ فِيها عِبْرَةً، ولا تَقُولُوا هُجْرًا" .

"إِنِّى كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُم عَنْ زيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوها فَإِنَّهَا نُذَكِّرُكُم الآخِرَة، ونهيْتُكُم عن الأَوْعِيةِ فاشْرَبوا مِنْها وَاجْنَنِبُوا كُلَّ مُسْكِر، ونَهْيُتكُم عَنِ لُحُوم الأَضَاحِى أَن تُمسِكُوها بعد "ثَلَاث" فَاحْبسُوا مَا بَدَا لَكُمْ" .

"أَلَا إِنِّى كنْتُ نهَيْتُكُمْ عن ثَلَاث: نهَيْتُكُمْ عن زيارَة القُبُور ثم بَدَا لِى أنَّهَا تُرِقُّ القُلُوبَ وتُدْمِعُ العَيْنَ فَزُورُوهَا وَلَا تَقُولوا هُجرًا، وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَن لُحُوم الأَضَاحى فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ، ثَمَّ بَدَا لِى أنَّ النَّاسَ يَبْتَغُونَ أُدْمهُمْ، ويُتحفونَ ضَيْفَهُمْ، ويَرفَعُون لغَائِبهمْ،

فَكُلُوا وَأَمْسُكوا مَا شئْتُمْ، ونَهْيتُكُمْ عَنِ الأَوْعِيَةَ فَاشْرَبُوا ما شِئْتُمْ مَنْ شاءَ أَوْ كَأَسِقَاءَهُ عَلَى إثْم ".

"نَهَيتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا، فَإِنِّها تُذَكِّرُكُمُ الآخِرَةَ، وَنَهيتُكُمْ عَنِ الشُّربِ في الدِّبَاء وَالْحَنْتَم، فَاشْرَبُوا مَا بَدَا لَكُمْ، وَاجْتَنِبُوا كُلَّ مُسْكِرٍ، وَنَهَيتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الأَضَاحِي أَنْ تَأكُلُوهَا فَوْقَ ثَلاثٍ، فَكُلُوا مَا بدَا لَكُمْ".

"نَهَيتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزَورُوْهَا، وَلَا تَقُولُوا هُجْرًا، وَنَهَيتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الأضَاحِي بَعْدَ ثَلاثٍ فَكُلُوا وَأَمْسِكُوا، وَنَهَيتُكُمْ عَنِ النَّبيذ فَاشْرَبُوا وَلَا تَشْرَبُوا مُسْكِرًا".

" عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ الله ﷺ عَنْ ثَلاَث: عَنْ لُحُومِ الأَضَاحِى فَوْقَ ثَلاَثٍ، وَعَنْ زِيَارَةِ القُبُورِ، وَعَنِ النَّبِيذِ فِى هَذِهِ الظُّرُوفِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَلاَ إِنِّى نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ ثَلاَثٍ، ثُمَّ بَدَا لى فِيهِنَّ: نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الأَضَاحِى فَوْقَ ثَلاَثٍ: ثُمَّ بَدَا لِى أَنَّ النَّاسَ يُنْفِقُونَ إدَامَهمُ، وَيُتَحِفُونَ ضَيْفَهُم، وَيَخْتَبئُونَ لِغَائِبِهِمْ، وَكلُو وَأَمْسِكُوا مَا شِئْتُمْ، وَنَهيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ القُبُورِ فَزُورُوا وَلاَ تَقُولُوا هُجْرًا (*)، فَإِنَّهُ يُرِقُّ القَلْبَ، ويُدْمِعُ العَيْنَ، وَيُذَكِّرُ الآخِرَةَ، وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ هَذِهِ الأَوْعِيَةِ، فَاشْرَبُوا فِيما شِئْتُمْ ".
