[Machine] About his father, who was from the people of Hijrah and was a scholar, it was narrated that he went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as part of a delegation with a charity. They brought it to him and he forbade them from consuming intoxicants in these circumstances. So they returned to their land, which was the land of Tihamah, which was a hot land, and they felt extremely thirsty. They returned to him the following year with their charity and said, "O Messenger of Allah, you prohibited us from consuming these vessels, so we left them. This caused a great difficulty for us." He said, "Go and drink whatever you wish, but do not drink what has been poured for you as a sin."
