"بَعَثَنِى رَسُولُ الله ﷺ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ، فَقَالَ: إِيتِ قَوْمَكَ فَمُرْهُم أَنْ يَصُومُوا هَذَا الْيَوْمَ، قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ الله: مَا أُرَانِى آتِيهِمْ حَتَّى يَطْعَمُوا، فَقَالَ: مُرْ مَنْ طَعِمَ مِنْهُمْ فَلْيَصُمْ بَقِيَّةَ يَوْمِهِ".

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ sent me on the day of Ashura and said, "Go to your people and command them to fast on this day."
