The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Let the bedouin not gain upper band over you In regard to the name of your prayer, i. e. night prayer, for it is mentioned 'Isya' in the Book of Allah (i. e. the Qur'an). (The bedouin call it 'Atama because) they make delay in milling their she-camels.  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ تَغْلِبَنَّكُمُ الأَعْرَابُ عَلَى اسْمِ صَلاَتِكُمُ الْعِشَاءِ فَإِنَّهَا فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ الْعِشَاءُ وَإِنَّهَا تُعْتِمُ بِحِلاَبِ الإِبِلِ  

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Do not let the Bedouin make you change the name of your prayer. It is the 'Isha', and they bring their camels in and milk them at nightfall.'"  

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لاَ تَغْلِبَنَّكُمُ الأَعْرَابُ عَلَى اسْمِ صَلاَتِكُمْ فَإِنَّهَا الْعِشَاءُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَيُعْتِمُونَ بِالإِبِلِ  

The desert Arabs may not dominate you in respect of the name of your prayer. Beware! It is al-ʿIsha, but they milk their camels when it is fairly dark. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4984)   

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تَغْلِبَنَّكُمْ الْأَعْرَابُ عَلَى اسْمِ صَلَاتِكُمْ أَلَا وَإِنَّهَا الْعِشَاءُ وَإِنَّهُمْ يُعْتِمُونَ بِالْإِبِلِ أَوْ عَنِ الْإِبِلِ  

The Prophet said: "Do not let the Bedouins make you change the name of your prayer." Ibn Harmalah added: "Rather it is the 'Isha', but they say the 'Atamah because they bring their camels in for milking at that time (when it is dark)." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 705)   

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَغْلِبَنَّكُمْ الْأَعْرَابُ عَلَى اسْمِ صَلَاتِكُمْ فَإِنَّهَا الْعِشَاءُ إِنَّمَا يَدْعُونَهَا الْعَتَمَةَ لِإِعْتَامِهِمْ بِالْإِبِلِ لِحِلَابِهَا

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَغْلِبَنَّكُمُ الْأَعْرَابُ عَلَى اسْمِ صَلَاتِكُمُ الْعِشَاءِ يُسَمُّونَهَا الْعَتَمَةَ لِإِعْتَامِ الْإِبِلِ»  

[Machine] "From the Prophet ﷺ , the Arabs should not overpower you with the pronunciation of your prayers, as they are recorded in the Book of Allah. They refer to the evening prayer as 'al-Isha', but the Arabs named it 'al-A'tamah' due to their camels returning to their pens."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لَا يَغْلِبَنَّكُمُ الْأَعْرَابُ مِنِ اسْمِ صَلَاتِكُمْ فَإِنَّهَا فِي كِتَابِ اللهِ ﷻُّ الْعِشَاءُ وَإِنَّمَا سَمَّتْهَا الْأَعْرَابُ الْعَتَمَةُ مِنْ أَجْلِ أَبِلِهَا لِحِلَابِهَا  

"لا تَغْلِبَنَّكُمُ الأعْرَابُ عَلَى اسْم صَلاتكُم الْعِشَاء، فَإنَّها فِي كتَابِ اللهِ الْعِشَاءُ، وَهُمْ يُعْتِمُونَ بِحِلابِ الإِبِلِ".  

"لا تَغْلِبَنَّكُمُ الأَعْرَابُ عَلَى اسْمِ صَلاتِكُمْ، فَإنَّما هِيَ الْعِشَاءُ، وَإنَّما يَقُولُون: الْعَتَمةُ لإِعْتَامِهِم بالإِبِلِ".  

"يَا عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ: لاَ يَغْلِبَنَّ عَلَى اسْم صَلاَتِكُمْ، فَإِنَّ الله سَمَّاهَا العِشَاءَ، وَإنَمَا سَمَّاهَا الأعْرَابُ العَتَمَةَ مِنْ اجْلِ إِعْتَامِ حَلبِ إِبِلِهِمْ".
