"هَلاكُ أُمَّتِي في الكِتَابِ وَاللَّبَنِ، أَمَّا الكِتَابُ فَيَقْرأُونَ القُرآنَ وَيَتَأوّلونَهُ عَلَى غَيرِ تَأويلهِ، وَيُحِبُّونَ اللَّبَنَ فَيَبْدُونَ فَيَدَعُونَ الجَمَاعَاتِ وَالجُمَعِ".

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , say, "The destruction of my Ummah will come through the book (i.e., misinterpretation of the Quran) and milk." They asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what is the book and milk?" He replied, "They will learn the Quran and interpret it in a way that is not revealed by Allah, and they will love dairy products (i.e., indulge in worldly pleasures) and abandon congregational prayers and coming together (for the sake of Allah)."
