[عد] ابن عدى في الكامل عن بَحيرا الراهب، وقال: منكر، ولم أسمع لبحيرا بمسند غير هذا، وقال ابن حجر في الإِصابة: ليس هو بَحيرا الذي لقى النبي ﷺ قبل البعثة مع أبي طالب كما ظن بعضهم، بل هو أحدُ الثمانية الذين قدموا مع جعفر بن أبي طالب من الحبشة
