"مَا منْ قَوْمٍ يَظهَرُ فِيهِمْ الرِّبَا إِلا أُخِذُوا [بالسَّنَةِ، وَمَا مِنْ قَوْمٍ يَظهَرُ فِيهِمُ الرِّشَا إِلا أُخذُوا] بِالرُّعب (*) ".

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "No people indulge in usury without being afflicted by the year, and no people indulge in bribery without being afflicted by fear."
