[Machine] We carried the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on camels from the camels of charity for Hajj. So we said, "O Messenger of Allah, shouldn't we ride these camels?" He said, "Every camel has a devil on its back, so mention the name of Allah when you ride it, as He has commanded you. Then take care of it for yourselves, for Allah only carries what He wishes."  

حَمَلَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى إِبِلٍ مِنْ إِبِلِ الصَّدَقَةِ لِلْحَجِّ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا نَرَى أَنْ تَحْمِلَنَا هَذِهِ قَالَ مَا مِنْ بَعِيرٍ إِلَّا فِي ذُرْوَتِهِ شَيْطَانٌ فَاذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللهِ عَلَيْهَا إِذَا رَكِبْتُمُوهَا كَمَا أمَرَكم ثُمَّ امْتَهِنُوهَا لِأَنْفُسِكُمْ فَإِنَّمَا يَحْمِلُ اللهُ  

[Machine] We carried the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on weak camels from the charity camels for Hajj. We said, "O Messenger of Allah, we do not see it fit for you to ride these." He said, "Every camel has a devil on its back, so remember the name of Allah when you mount it, as He has commanded you, then leave it to its own devices, for Allah alone carries (the weight)."  

حَمَلَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَلَى إِبِلٍ مِنْ إِبِلِ الصَّدَقَةِ ضِعَافٍ لِلْحَجِّ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا نَرَى أَنْ تَحْمِلَنَا هَذِهِ فَقَالَ «مَا مِنْ بَعِيرٍ إِلَّا عَلَى ذُرْوَتِهِ شَيْطَانٌ فَاذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ إِذَا رَكِبْتُمُوهَا كَمَا أَمَرَكُمْ ثُمَّ امْتَهِنُوهَا لِأَنْفُسِكُمْ فَإِنَّمَا يَحْمِلُ اللَّهُ»  

[Machine] "We carried the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on camels from the camels of charity, which were weak, for Hajj. We said, 'O Messenger of Allah, we do not see it appropriate for you to ride on these.' He said, 'There is no camel except that there is a devil in its hump. So when you ride it, remember the blessings of Allah upon you as Allah has commanded you and then handle it with ease, for only Allah carries.'"  

حَمَلَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى إِبِلٍ مِنْ إِبِلِ الصَّدَقَةِ ضِعَافٍ لِلْحَجِّ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا نَرَى أَنْ تَحْمِلَنَا هَذِهِ؟ فَقَالَ «مَا مِنْ بَعِيرٍ إِلَّا وَفِي ذُرْوَتِهِ شَيْطَانٌ فَإِذَا رَكِبْتُمُوهَا فَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللهِ عَلَيْكُمْ كَمَا أَمَرَكُمُ اللهُ ثُمَّ امْتَهِنُوهَا لِأَنْفُسِكُمْ فَإِنَّمَا يَحْمِلُ اللهُ»  

[Machine] We carried the messenger of Allah, ﷺ , on camels from the camels of charity, which were weak for the purpose of Hajj. So we said, "O Messenger of Allah, we do not think it is appropriate for you to be carried on these." He said, "There is no camel except that there is a devil upon its hump, so remember the name of Allah when you mount it, as He has commanded you. Then take care of it yourselves, for no one carries Allah.  

حَمَلَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى إِبِلِ مِنْ إِبِلِ الصَّدَقَةِ ضِعَافٍ لِلْحَجِّ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا نَرَى أَنْ تَحْمِلَنَا هَذِهِ فَقَالَ مَا مِنْ بَعِيرٍ إِلَّا عَلَى ذِرْوَتِهِ شَيْطَانٌ فَاذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللهِ إِذَا رَكِبْتُمُوهَا كَمَا أَمَرَكُمْ ثُمَّ امْتَهِنُوهَا لِأَنْفُسِكُمْ فَإِنَّمَا يَحْمِلُ اللهُ  

"إِنَّ عَلَى ذِرْوَةِ سنامِ كُلِّ بعيرٍ شيطانًا، فَإِذَا رَكِبْتُمُوهَا فاذكُرُوا اسمَ اللَّهِ عليها ثُمَّ امْتَهِنُوهَا، فَإِنَّمَا يَحْمِلُ اللَّهُ ﷻ".
