"أُتِىَ النَّبيُّ ﷺ بِرَجُلٍ، فَقَالُوا: إِنَّ هَذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَقْتُلَكَ، فَقَالَ لَهُ: لَمْ تُرَعْ لم تُرَعْ، وَلَوْ أرَدْتَ ذَلِكَ لَمْ يُسَلِّطْكَ اللهُ عَلَىَّ".

[Machine] I heard the Prophet ﷺ and saw a fat man, so the Prophet ﷺ pointed to his stomach with his hand and said, "If this was in someone else, it would be better for him." Then the Prophet ﷺ was brought a man, and they said, "This man wants to kill you." The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Why didn't you kill me? Why didn't you kill me? If you had wanted to, Allah would not have allowed you to dominate over me."
سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَرَأَى رَجُلًا سَمِينًا فَجَعَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُومِئُ إِلَى بَطْنِهِ بِيَدِهِ وَيَقُولُ لَوْ كَانَ هَذَا فِي غَيْرِ هَذَا لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَكَ قَالَ وَأُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِرَجُلٍ فَقَالُوا هَذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَقْتُلَكَ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لَمْ تُرَعْ لَمْ تُرَعْ وَلَوْ أَرَدْتَ ذَلِكَ لَمْ يُسَلِّطْكَ اللهُ عَلَيَّ
[Machine] "From the Prophet ﷺ , he said: They brought a man to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'This man intends to kill you.' He replied to him, 'Have no fear, have no fear, if you had intended that, you would not have been able to overpower me.'"
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ جَاءُوا بِرَجُلٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالُوا إِنَّ هَذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَقْتُلَكَ فَقَالَ لَهُ «لَمْ تُرَعْ لَمْ تُرَعْ لَوْ أَرَدْتَ ذَلِكَ لَمْ تُسَلَّطْ عَلَيَّ»
[Machine] I heard Jadah, a man from the Banu Jusham ibn Mu'awiyah, saying: "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was approached by a man, and they said, 'This man intends to kill the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .' Then, the Prophet ﷺ began saying, 'You will never be able to do so, you will never be able to do so. If you had intended to do so, Allah would not have allowed you.'"
سَمِعْتُ جَعْدَةَ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي جُشَمِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ جِيءَ إِلَيْهِ بِرَجُلٍ فَقَالُوا إِنَّ هَذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَقْتُلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَجَعَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَمْ تُرَعْ لَمْ تُرَعْ لَوْ أَرَدْتَ ذَلِكَ لَمْ يُسَلِّطْكَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ»
"لَمْ تُرَعْ، لَمْ تُرَعْ, وَلَوْ أَرَدْتَ ذَلِكَ لَمْ يُسَلِّطكَ الله عَلَيّ".
"عَنْ أَبِى إسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ جَعْدَةَ قَالَ: شَهِدْتُ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ وَأُتِىَ بِرجُلٍ، فَقِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ الله! هَذَا أرَادَ أَنْ يَقْتُلَكَ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ : لَمْ تُرَعْ لَمْ تُرَعْ، لَوْ أرَدْتَ ذَلِكَ لَمْ يُسَلِّطْكَ اللهُ عَلَى قَتْلِي".
