"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'If Allah (SWT) were to withhold rain from His slaves for five years and then send it, some of the people would become disbelievers, saying: "We have been given rain by the star of Al-Mijdah."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَوْ أَمْسَكَ اللَّهُ ﷻ الْمَطَرَ عَنْ عِبَادِهِ خَمْسَ سِنِينَ ثُمَّ أَرْسَلَهُ لأَصْبَحَتْ طَائِفَةٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ كَافِرِينَ يَقُولُونَ سُقِينَا بِنَوْءِ الْمِجْدَحِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If Allah were to withhold rain from my nation for ten years and then send it down, a group from my nation would become disbelievers. They would say, 'It is due to the efforts of a fortunate individual.' It would be said to them, 'That individual is like a shining star known as Ad-Dabaran.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَوْ حَبَسَ اللَّهُ الْقَطْرَ عَنْ أُمَّتِي عَشْرَ سِنِينَ ثُمَّ أُنْزَلَهُ لَأَصْبَحَتْ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي بِهَا كَافِرِينَ يَقُولُونَ هُوَ بِنَوْءِ مِجْدَحٍ يقَالَ الْمِجْدَحُ كَوْكَبٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ الدَّبَرَانُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and Sufyan also said, "I do not know who is a blamer. If Allah were to withhold rain from the people for seven years and then send it down, there would be a group of disbelievers who would say, 'We have been rained on due to the praise of the poet.'"
