[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and Sufyan also said, "I do not know who is a blamer. If Allah were to withhold rain from the people for seven years and then send it down, there would be a group of disbelievers who would say, 'We have been rained on due to the praise of the poet.'"

أحمد:١١٠٤٢ – حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ سَمِعَ عَمْرًا عَنْ عَتَّابِ بْنِ حُنَيْنٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ لَا أَدْرِي مَنْ عَتَّابٌ لَوْ أَمْسَكَ اللهُ الْقَطْرَ عَنِ النَّاسِ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ ثُمَّ أَرْسَلَهُ لَأَصْبَحَتْ طَائِفَةٌ بِهِ كَافِرِينَ يَقُولُونَ مُطِرْنَا بِنَوْءِ الْمِجْدَحِ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'If Allah (SWT) were to withhold rain from His slaves for five years and then send it, some of the people would become disbelievers, saying: "We have been given rain by the star of Al-Mijdah."

النسائي:١٥٢٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَتَّابِ بْنِ حُنَيْنٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ
