The Prophet ﷺ said: That I sit in the company of the people who remember Allah the Exalted from morning prayer till the sun rises is dearer to me than that I emancipate four slaves from the children of Ismaʿil, and that I sit with the people who remember Allah from afternoon prayer till the sun sets is dearer to me than that I emancipate four slaves.  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لأَنْ أَقْعُدَ مَعَ قَوْمٍ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى مِنْ صَلاَةِ الْغَدَاةِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ أَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُعْتِقَ أَرْبَعَةً مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَلأَنْ أَقْعُدَ مَعَ قَوْمٍ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ مِنْ صَلاَةِ الْعَصْرِ إِلَى أَنْ تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ أَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُعْتِقَ أَرْبَعَةً  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "To remember Allah, the Exalted, from sunrise until the sun sets, by saying Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest), Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), and SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah), is more beloved to me than freeing four slaves from the descendants of Ismail. And to remember Allah from Asr prayer until the sun sets is more beloved to me than freeing so and so number of slaves from the descendants of Ismail."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَأَنْ أَذْكُرَ اللهَ تَعَالَى مِنْ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ أُكَبِّرُ وَأُهَلِّلُ وَأُسَبِّحُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَعْتِقَ أَرْبَعًا مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَلَأَنْ أَذْكُرَ اللهَ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِإِلَى أَنْ تَغِيبَ الشَّمْسُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَعْتِقَ كَذَا وَكَذَا مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "To mention Allah from the time of Fajr until the rising of the sun, I say Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest), Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), and Subhanallah (Glory be to Allah), is more beloved to me than freeing four slaves from the children of Ismail. And to mention Allah from after Asr prayer until the sun sets is more beloved to me than freeing this and that number of slaves from the children of Ismail."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَأَنْ أَذْكُرَ اللهَ مِنْ طُلُوعِ الْفَجْرِ إِلَى طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ أُكَبِّرُ وَأُهَلِّلُ وَأُسَبِّحُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَعْتِقَ أَرْبَعَ رِقَابٍ مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَلَأَنْ أَذْكُرَ اللهَ مِنْ بَعْدِ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ إِلَى أَنْ تَغِيبَ الشَّمْسُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُعْتِقَ كَذَا وَكَذَا مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I prefer to sit with a group of people who remember Allah after the Fajr prayer until the sun rises, more than having eight of Ishmael's children as a ransom for each of them, which amounts to twelve thousand ransoms in total, and I prefer to sit with a group of people who remember Allah after the Asr prayer until the sun sets, more than being granted freedom for eight of Ishmael's children."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَأَنْ أَجْلِسَ مَعَ قَوْمٍ يَذْكُرُونَ اللهَ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ إِلَى أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ أَحَبُّ إِلِيَّ مِمَّا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ وَلَأَنْ أَجْلِسَ مَعَ قَوْمٍ يَذْكُرُونَ اللهَ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ إِلَى أَنْ تَغِيبَ الشَّمْسُ أَحَبُّ إِلِيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُعْتِقَ ثَمَانِيَةً مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ دِيَةُ كُلِّ رَجُلٍ مِنْهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَلْفًا  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "To sit with a group of people who remember Allah from the morning prayer until the rising of the sun is dearer to me than the sun rising upon them. And to sit with a group of people who remember Allah from the afternoon prayer until the evening prayer is dearer to me than freeing eight of the offspring of Isma'il, whose ransom is twelve thousand each."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَأَنْ أَجْلِسَ مَعَ قَوْمٍ يَذْكُرُونَ اللهَ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْغَدَاةِ إِلَى أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ أَحَبُّ إِلِيَّ مِمَّا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ وَلَأَنْ أَجْلِسَ مَعَ قَوْمٍ يَذْكُرُونَ اللهَ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ إِلَى صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ أَحَبُّ إِلِيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُعْتِقَ ثَمَانِيَةً مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ دِيَةُ كُلِّ رَجُلٍ مِنْهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَلْفًا  

"لَأَنْ أَقْعُدَ مَعَ قَوْمٍ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ تَعَالى مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْغَدَاةِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَعْتِقَ أَرْبَعَةً مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيل، وَلَأَنْ أَقْعُدَ مَعَ قَوْمٍ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ إِلَى أَنْ تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مَنْ أَنْ أَعْتِقَ أَرْبَعَةً".  

"لأَنْ أَقْعُدَ مَعَ أَقَوَامٍ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ مِنْ صَلاةِ الْفجْرِ إِلَى أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَعْتِقَ أَرْبَعَةً مِنْ بَنِي وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَدِيَةُ كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَلْفًا، ولأَنْ أَقْعُدَ مَعَ أَقَوَام يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ مِنْ صَلاةِ الْعَصْرِ إِلَى مَغِيبِ الشَّمْسِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَعْتِقَ أَرْبَعَةً مِنْ بَنِي وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَدِيَةُ كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَلْفًا".  

"لأَنْ أقْعُدَ أذْكُرُ اللهَ مِن طُلُوعِ الفَجْرِ إِلَى طُلُوعِ الْشَّمْسِ أُكَبِّرُهُ وأَحمِّدُهُ، وأُهَلِّلُهُ، وأُسَبِّحُهُ أَحَبُّ إِليَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَعْتِقَ رَقَبَةً مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعيلَ، ولأَنْ أذكُرَ اللهَ مِن بَعْدِ صَلاةِ الْعَصْرِ إِلَى أنْ تَغيبَ الشَّمْسُ أحَبُّ إِلْيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَعْتِقَ أَرْبَعُ رقَابٍ مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ".
