'Amr bin Shu'aib on his father's authority said that his grandfather told that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ decided regarding the stream al-Mahzur that its water should be held back till it reached the ankles, and that the upper waters should then be allowed to flow to the lower.
the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled concerning the stream of Mahzur that the water should be retained until it reached the ankles, then released.
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr ibn Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Hazm that he heard that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said about the flood-channels of Mahzur and Mudhaynib (in Madina), "Dam them systematically, so that the water is diverted into each property in turn up to ankle level, starting upstream."
'Amr bin Shu'aib on his father's authority said that his grandfather told that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ decided regarding the stream al-Mahzur that its water should be held back till it reached the ankles, and that the upper waters should then be allowed to flow to the lower.
