"عَلَيكُمْ بِالْحُزْنِ فَإِنَّهُ مِفْتاحُ الْقَلْب قالُوا يَا رسُول اللهِ: وَكَيفَ الْحُزْنُ؟ قال: أجيِعُوا أنْفُسَكُمْ بالْجُوعِ وأظْمئُوهَا".

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Upon you is grief, for it is the key to the heart." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, how can we experience grief?" He said, "Make yourselves hungry and thirsty."
