"'Adi bin Thabit and 'Ata bin As-Sa'ib informed me, from Sa'eed bin Jubair, from Ibn 'Abbas - and one of them mentioned that it was from the Prophet ﷺ - that he mentioned that Jibra'il began shoving clay in the mouth of Fir'awn out of fear that he would say La Ilaha Illallah and Allah would have mercy upon him - or fearing that Allah would have mercy upon him."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ أَنَّ جِبْرِيلَ ﷺ جَعَلَ يَدُسُّ فِي فِي فِرْعَوْنَ الطِّينَ خَشْيَةَ أَنْ يَقُولَ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ فَيَرْحَمَهُ اللَّهُ أَوْ خَشْيَةَ أَنْ يَرْحَمَهُ اللَّهُ

[AI] One of them raised it to the Prophet ﷺ and he said, "Verily, Jibril used to put mud in the mouth of Pharaoh in fear that he might say, 'There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah.'"

رَفَعَهُ أَحَدُهُمَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ كَانَ يَدُسُّ فِي فَمِ فِرْعَوْنَ الطِّينَ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يَقُولَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلا اللهُ

[AI] One of them raised him to the Prophet ﷺ, saying that Jibril used to put mud in Pharaoh's mouth out of fear that he would say "There is no god but Allah."

رَفَعَهُ أَحَدُهُمَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إنَّ جِبْرِيلَ كَانَ يَدُسُّ فِي فِي فِرْعَوْنَ الطِّينَ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يَقُولَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ

[AI] Ibn Abbas reported that one of them (the narrators) raised him to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Verily, Gabriel used to put clay in the mouth of Pharaoh for fear that he would say, 'There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah'."

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَفَعَهُ أَحَدُهُمَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ «إِنَّ جَبْرَائِيلَ كَانَ يَدُسُّ فِي فَمِ فِرْعَونَ الطِّينَ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يَقُولَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ»

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ أَنَّ جَبْرَئِيلَ جَعَلَ يَدُسُّ فِي فَمِ فِرْعَونَ الطِّينَ خَشْيَةَ أَنْ يَقُولَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ فَيَرْحَمَهُ اللَّهُ أَوْ قَالَ خَشْيَةَ أَنْ يَرْحَمَهُ اللَّهُ

[AI] From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: "Gabriel put mud into Pharaoh's mouth, out of fear that he might say, 'There is no god but Allah.'"

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ جَعَلَ جِبْرِيلُ يَدُسُّ الطِّينَ فِي فِي فِرْعَوْنَ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يَقُولَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Indeed, the angel Gabriel ﷺ inserted his hand into Pharaoh's mouth out of fear that he might say, 'There is no god but Allah,' so that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, may have mercy on him."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ جَعَلَ يَدُسُّ فِي فَمِ فِرْعَوْنَ الطِّينَ خَشْيَةَ أَنْ يَقُولَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ فَيَرْحَمَهُ اللَّهُ ﷻ

[AI] "One of them raised Ibn Abbas to the Prophet, ﷺ , and he said, 'Indeed, Gabriel used to put clay in the mouth of Pharaoh out of fear that he would say 'There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah'.'"

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَفَعَهُ أَحَدُهُمَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ كَانَ يَدُسُّ فِي فَمِ فِرْعَوْنَ الطِّينَ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يَقُولَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ»

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَفَعَهُ أَحَدُهُمَا إِلَى النَّبِيّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ كَانَ يَدُسُّ فِي فَمِ فِرْعَوْنَ الطِّينَ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يَقُولَ لا إِلَهَ إلاَّ اللَّهُ وَقال غَيْرُهُ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ تدركه الرحمة

[AI] "Narrated by Ibn Abbas, a person raised him to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'Verily, Jibril used to put clay in the mouth of Pharaoh as a precautionary measure, fearing that he might say: There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah.'"

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَفَعَهُ أَحَدُهُمَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ كَانَ يَدُسُّ فِي فَمِ فِرْعَوْنَ الطِّينَ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يَقُولَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ

"إِنَّ جبريلَ جعل يدُسُّ في فَم فرْعوْن الطِّينَ خَشْيةَ أَنْ يقولَ: لا إِلَه إِلا اللَّهُ فَيرْحمهُ اللَّهُ".
