"جَذَعةً سمينةً، اللَّه أَحَقُّ بالوفَاءِ والفتَاءِ؛ اشْتَرِ بها جَذَعةً سَمِينَةً، وَانْسُكْ بِهَا عنكَ".

البغوى عن سنان بن سلمة بن المُحَبِّق أن رجلا قال: يا رسول اللَّه إِنَّ لى سلعة تبلغ ثمن جذعة سمينة وثمنٍ مسنةٍ مهزولةٍ أَىَّ ذلك تختارُ؟ قال فذكره

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah is more entitled to a servant's loyalty and fulfillment. Buy her (a female slave) with a strong, healthy trunk and then set her free, for your sake, meaning as an act of charity."
