Collected by Bukhārī, Nasāʾī, Abū Dāwūd, Aḥmad, Dārimī, Nasāʾī's KubráThe prophet said, "There is a prayer between the two Adhans (Adhan and Iqama), there is a prayer between the two Adhans." And then while saying it the third time he added, "For the one who wants to (pray).
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بَيْنَ كُلِّ أَذَانَيْنِ صَلاَةٌ بَيْنَ كُلِّ أَذَانَيْنِ صَلاَةٌ ثُمَّ قَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ لِمَنْ شَاءَ
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Between each two Adhans [1] there is a prayer, between each two Adhans there is a prayer, between each two Adhans there is a prayer, for whoever wants to do it." [1]Meaning, between the Adhan and Iqamah.
