"عَن البَرَاء قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ مَعَ أَبِى بَكْرٍ أَوَّلَ مَا قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ، فإِذا عَائِشَةُ ابْنتُهُ مُضْطَجِعَةٌ قَدْ أَصَابَتْهَا حُمَّى فَأتَاهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، فَقَالَ: كيْفَ أَنْتِ يَا بُنَّيةُ: وَقَبَّلَ خَدَّهَا".
I went in with AbuBakr when he had newly come to Medina and he found his daughter Aisha lying down afflicted with fever. AbuBakr went to her, and saying: How are you, girlie? kissed her on the cheek.
دَخَلْتُ مَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ أَوَّلَ مَا قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ فَإِذَا عَائِشَةُ ابْنَتُهُ مُضْطَجِعَةٌ قَدْ أَصَابَتْهَا حُمَّى فَأَتَاهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ لَهَا كَيْفَ أَنْتِ يَا بُنَيَّةُ وَقَبَّلَ خَدَّهَا
[Machine] I entered with Abu Bakr as soon as he arrived in Medina, and there I found Aisha lying down, taken by fever. Abu Bakr approached her and said, "How are you, my daughter?" and he kissed her forehead.
