that he heard Ibn ʿUmar saying, "Weren't people forbidden to make vows?" The Prophet ﷺ said, 'A vow neither hastens nor delays anything, but by the making of vows, some of the wealth of a miser is taken out."  

عَنِ النَّذْرِ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ النَّذْرَ لاَ يُقَدِّمُ شَيْئًا وَلاَ يُؤَخِّرُ وَإِنَّمَا يُسْتَخْرَجُ بِالنَّذْرِ مِنَ الْبَخِيلِ  

The vow neither hastens anything nor defers anything, but is the means whereby (something) is extracted from the miserly person.  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ النَّذْرُ لاَ يُقَدِّمُ شَيْئًا وَلاَ يُؤَخِّرُهُ وَإِنَّمَا يُسْتَخْرَجُ بِهِ مِنَ الْبَخِيلِ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, a vow does not precede or delay anything, and it is only extracted from a stingy person by means of making a vow."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ النَّذْرَ لَا يُقَدِّمُ شَيْئًا وَلَا يُؤَخِّرُهُ وَإِنَّمَا يُسْتَخْرَجُ بِالنَّذْرِ مِنَ الْبَخِيلِ  

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'A vow does not bring anything forward or put it back; it is just a means of taking wealth from the miserly.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3803)  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «النَّذْرُ لَا يُقَدِّمُ شَيْئًا وَلَا يُؤَخِّرُهُ إِنَّمَا هُوَ شَيْءٌ يُسْتَخْرَجُ بِهِ مِنَ الشَّحِيحِ»  

"النَّذْرُ لَا يُقَدِّمُ شَيئًا وَلَا يُؤَخِّرُهُ، إِنَّمَا هُوَ شَيْءٌ يُسْتَخْرَجُ بِهِ مِنَ الشَّحِيحِ".  

"نَهَانَا النَّبِىُّ ﷺ عَنِ النَّذْرِ وَقَالَ: إِنَّهُ لاَ يُقَدِّمُ شَيْئًا وَإنَّمَا يُسْتَخْرجُ بِهِ مِنَ الشَّحِيحِ".
