"A vow does not bring anything to the son of Adam that has not been decreed for him. It is just a means of taking wealth from the miserly."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَأْتِي النَّذْرُ عَلَى ابْنِ آدَمَ شَيْئًا لَمْ يُقَدِّرْهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَكِنَّهُ شَىْءٌ يُسْتَخْرَجُ بِهِ مِنَ الْبَخِيلِ
[Machine] "On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , Allah (God) said: 'No vow made by the son of Adam (human) comes to me in which I do not decree for him what I have prescribed, but it is a way of extracting from the miser (stingy person) what I have not decreed for him to give me.'"
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ قَالَ اللهُ ﷻ لَا يَأْتِي النَّذْرُ عَلَى ابْنِ آدَمَ بِشَيْءٍ لَمْ أُقَدِّرْهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَكِنَّهُ شَيْءٌ أَسْتَخْرِجُ بِهِ مِنَ الْبَخِيلِ يُؤْتِينِي عَلَيْهِ مَا لَا يُؤْتِينِي عَلَى الْبُخْلِ

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم النذر لا يقرب شيئا لم يكن الله قدره وَلكن النذر يستخرج به من البخيل ما لم يكن يريد أن يخرجه
اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم لا يأتي النذر على ابن آدم بشيء لم يقدره الله عليه ولكنه يستخرج به من البخيل
