"Hold on to your wealth and do not give it on the basis of 'Umra. For whoever is given something on the basis of 'Umra for the rest of his life, it belongs to him for the rest of his life and after his death."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ امْسِكُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَمْوَالَكُمْ وَلاَ تُعْمِرُوهَا فَمَنْ أُعْمِرَ شَيْئًا حَيَاتَهُ فَهُوَ لَهُ حَيَاتَهُ وَبَعْدَ مَوْتِهِ

"Jabir said: 'The Messenger of Allah said: "O Ansar! Hold on to your wealth, and do not give it on the basis of 'Umra. For whoever gives something on the basis of 'Umra, it belongs to the one to whom he gave it on that basis, for the rest of his life and after he dies."'"
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَا مَعْشَرَ الأَنْصَارِ امْسِكُوا عَلَيْكُمْ يَعْنِي أَمْوَالَكُمْ لاَ تُعْمِرُوهَا فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ أَعْمَرَ شَيْئًا فَإِنَّهُ لِمَنْ أُعْمِرَهُ حَيَاتَهُ وَمَمَاتَهُ
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Hold onto your wealth and do not give it to anyone. Whoever builds something, it belongs to him."
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَمْسِكُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَمْوَالَكُمْ لَا تُعْطُوهَا أَحَدًا فَمَنْ أُعْمِرَ شَيْئًا فَهُوَ لَهُ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Hold onto your wealth and do not spend it, for if it is spent, it becomes the means of inheritance.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَمْسِكُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَمْوَالَكُمْ وَلَا تُعْمِرُوهَا فَإِنْ أُعْمِرَ عُمْرَى فَهِيَ سَبِيلُ الْمِيرَاثِ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to the Ansar, "Do not make your wealth flourish, for whoever makes something flourish during his lifetime, it will be for him and his heirs after his death."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِلْأَنْصَارِ «لَا تُعْمِرُوا أَمْوَالَكُمْ فَمَنْ أُعْمِرَ شَيْئًا حَيَاتَهُ فَهُوَ لَهُ وَلِوَرَثَتِهِ إِذَا مَاتَ»
"Abu Az-Zubair informed me that he heard Jabir saying: 'The Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever is given something on the basis of 'Umra it belongs to him for the rest of his life and after he dies."'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3735)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أُعْمِرَ شَيْئًا فَهُوَ لَهُ حَيَاتَهُ وَبَعْدَ مَوْتِهِ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Hold on to your wealth and do not squander it, for whoever squanders something, it becomes their life and inheritance after they die."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَمْسِكُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَمْوَالَكُمْ وَلَا تُعْمِرُوهَا فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ أُعْمِرَ شَيْئًا فَهُوَ لَهُ حَيَاتَهُ وَلِوَرَثَتِهِ إِذَا مَاتَ»

"يَا مَعْشَر الأَنْصَارِ: أَمْسِكُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَمْوَالَكُمْ لَا تُعْمِرُوهَا؛ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ أُعْمِرَ شَيْئًا حَيَاتَهُ فَهُوَ لَهُ حَيَاتَهُ وَمَوْتَهُ".
