"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite Qur'an in all circumstances except when he was Junub."  

النسائي:٢٦٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ أَبُو يُوسُفَ الصَّيْدَلاَنِيُّ الرَّقِّيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلِمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ لَيْسَ الْجَنَابَةَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُقْرِئُنَا الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ جُنُبًا  

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ عَلِيٍّ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَبِهِ قَالَ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَالتَّابِعِينَ قَالُوا يَقْرَأُ الرَّجُلُ الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى غَيْرِ وُضُوءٍ وَلاَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْمُصْحَفِ إِلاَّ وَهُوَ طَاهِرٌ وَبِهِ يَقُولُ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ وَالشَّافِعِيُّ وَأَحْمَدُ وَإِسْحَاقُ
