[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "No one is given a choice between two matters except that he chooses the more severe of the two."

الكبرى للنسائي:٨٢١٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ سِيَاهٍ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَا خُيِّرَ عَمَّارٌ بَيْنَ أَمْرَيْنِ إِلَّا اخْتَارَ أَشَدَّهُمَا»
