أَنَّ قِيمَةَ الْمِجَنِّ كَانَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عَشَرَةَ دَرَاهِمَ  

hakim:8142 – Abū al-ʿAbbās Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb > Abū Zurʿah al-Dimashqī > Aḥmad b. Khālid al-Wahbī > Muḥammad b. Isḥāq > Ayyūb b. Mūsá > ʿAṭāʾ > Ibn ʿAbbās

A similar report was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas. The price of a shield at the time of the Messenger of Allah was estimated to be ten Dirhams. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4951)   

الحاكم:٨١٤٢ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْوَهْبِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

«كَانَ ثَمَنُ الْمِجَنِّ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُقَوَّمُ عَشْرَةَ دَرَاهِمَ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ وَشَاهِدُهُ حَدِيثُ أَيْمَنَ على شرط مسلم
