٧۔ كِتَابُ الْمُحَارَبَةِ
"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'If a Muslim points a weapon at his fellow Muslim, then they are on the brink of Hell, and if he kills him, then they will both fall into it.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4116)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا أَشَارَ الْمُسْلِمُ عَلَى أَخِيهِ الْمُسْلِمِ بِالسِّلَاحِ فَهُمَا عَلَى جُرُفِ جَهَنَّمَ فَإِذَا قَتَلَهُ خَرَّا جَمِيعًا فِيهِ»
"If two Muslim men bear weapons against each other, then they are both on the brink of Hell. And if one of them kills the other, they will both be in Hell." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4117)
«إِذَا حَمَلَ الرَّجُلَانِ الْمُسْلِمَانِ السِّلَاحَ أَحَدُهُمَا عَلَى الْآخَرِ فَهُمَا عَلَى جُرُفِ النَّارِ فَإِذَا قَتَلَ أَحَدُهُمَا الْآخَرَ فَهُمَا فِي النَّارِ»
The Prophet [SAW] said: "If two Muslims confront each other with swords, and one kills the other, they will both be in Hell." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, (we understand about) the killer, but what about the one who is killed?" He said: "He wanted to kill his companion." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4118)
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا تَوَاجَهَ الْمُسْلِمَانِ بِسَيْفَيْهِمَا فَقَتَلَ أَحَدُهُمَا صَاحِبَهُ فَهُمَا فِي النَّارِ» قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَذَا الْقَاتِلُ فَمَا بَالُ الْمَقْتُولِ؟ قَالَ «أَرَادَ قَتْلَ صَاحِبِهِ»
[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ, "When two Muslims face each other with their swords, and one of them kills his companion, then both of them are in Hell."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ «إِذَا تَوَاجَهَ الْمُسْلِمَانِ بِسَيْفَيْهِمَا فَقَتَلَ أَحَدُهُمَا صَاحِبَهُ فَهُمَا فِي النَّارِ» مِثْلَهُ سَوَاءً
The Prophet [SAW] said: "If two Muslims confront each other with swords, each of them wanting to kill the other, they will both be in Hell." It was said to him: "O Messenger of Allah, (we understand about) the killer, but what about the one who is killed?" He said: "He was determined to kill his companion." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4120)
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا تَوَاجَهَ الْمُسْلِمَانِ بِسَيْفَيْهِمَا كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا يُرِيدُ قَتْلَ صَاحِبِهِ فَهُمَا فِي النَّارِ» قِيلَ لَهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَذَا الْقَاتِلُ فَمَا بَالُ الْمَقْتُولِ؟ قَالَ «إِنَّهُ كَانَ حَرِيصًا عَلَى قَتْلِ صَاحِبِهِ»
"The Messenger [SAW] said: 'If two Muslims meet (and fight) with their swords and one of them kills the other, the killer and the slain will both be in Hell.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4121)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا الْتَقَى الْمُسْلِمَانِ بِسَيْفَيْهِمَا فَقَتَلَ أَحَدُهُمَا صَاحِبَهُ فَالْقَاتِلُ وَالْمَقْتُولُ فِي النَّارِ»
"I heard the Messenger of Allah [SAW] say: 'If two Muslims confront each other with their swords and one of them kills the other, both the killer and the slain will be in Hell.'" They said: "O Messenger of Allah, (we understand about) the killer, but what about the one who is killed?" He said: "He wanted to kill his companion." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4122)
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِذَا تَوَاجَهَ الْمُسْلِمَانِ بِسَيْفَيْهِمَا فَقَتَلَ أَحَدُهُمَا صَاحِبَهُ فَالْقَاتِلُ وَالْمَقْتُولُ فِي النَّارِ» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَذَا الْقَاتِلُ فَمَا بَالُ الْمَقْتُولِ؟ قَالَ «إِنَّهُ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَقْتُلَ أَخَاهُ»
"The Messenger [SAW] said: 'If two Muslims meet (and fight) with their swords and one of them kills the other, the killer and the slain will both be in Hell.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4121)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا الْتَقَى الْمُسْلِمَانِ بِسَيْفَيْهِمَا فَقَتَلَ أَحَدُهُمَا صَاحِبَهُ فَالْقَاتِلُ وَالْمَقْتُولُ فِي النَّارِ»

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا تَوَاجَهَ الْمُسْلِمَانِ بِسَيْفَيْهِمَا فَقَتَلَ أَحَدُهُمَا صَاحِبَهُ فَالْقَاتِلُ وَالْمَقْتُولُ فِي النَّارِ» قَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَذَا الْقَاتِلُ فَمَا بَالُ الْمَقْتُولِ؟ قَالَ «إِنَّهُ أَرَادَ قَتْلَ صَاحِبِهِ»
Do not turn unbelievers after me ; one of you may strike the neck of the other. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4686)
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ»
"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Do not revert to disbelievers after I am gone, striking the necks of one another (killing one another). No man is to be punished for the sins of his father, or for the sins of his brother.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4126)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ وَلَا يُؤْخَذُ الرَّجُلُ بِجِنَايَةِ أَبِيهِ وَلَا بِجِنَايَةِ أَخِيهِ»
"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Do not revert to disbelievers after I am gone, striking the necks of one another (killing one another). No man is to be punished for the sins of his father, or the sins of his brother.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4127)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ وَلَا يُؤْخَذُ الرَّجُلُ بِجَرِيرَةِ أَبِيهِ وَلَا بِجَرِيرَةِ أَخِيهِ»
"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Do not revert to disbelievers after I am gone, striking the necks of one another (killing one another). No man is to be punished for the sins of his father, or the sins of his brother.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4127)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا أُلْفِيَنَّكُمْ تَرْجِعُونَ بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ لَا يُؤْخَذُ الرَّجُلُ بِجَرِيرَةِ أَبِيهِ وَلَا بِجَرِيرَةِ أَخِيهِ»
The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: "Do not revert to disbelievers after I am gone." It is Mursal. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4129)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا» مُرْسَلٌ
The Prophet [SAW] said: "Do not revert to misguidance after I am gone, striking the necks of one another (killing one another)." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4130)
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي ضُلَّالًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ»
The Prophet ﷺ said to me during Hajjat-al-Widaʿ: Let the people keep quiet and listen. Then he said (addressing the people), "Do not (become infidels) revert to disbelief after me by striking the necks (cutting the throats) of one another (killing each other). (Using translation from Bukhārī 121)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ اسْتَنْصَتَ النَّاسَ فَقَالَ «لَا تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ»
"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said to me: 'Ask the people to be quiet and listen.' Then he said: 'I do not want to see you after I am gone reverting to disbelievers, striking the necks of one another (killing one another).'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4132)
قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اسْتَنْصِتِ النَّاسَ» ثُمَّ قَالَ «لَا أُلْفِيَنَّكُمْ بَعْدَ مَا أَرَى تَرْجِعُونَ بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ»
