٢٢۔ كِتَابُ الطَّلَاقِ

22.40 [Machine] The order to place the hand on the wrist of both cursed ones at five o'clock.

٢٢۔٤٠ الْأَمْرُ بِوَضْعِ الْيَدِ عَلَى فِيِّ الْمُتَلَاعِنَيْنِ عِنْدَ الْخَامِسَةِ

nasai-kubra:5636ʿAlī b. Maymūn al-Raqqī > Sufyān > ʿĀṣim b. Kulayb from his father > Ibn ʿAbbās

When the Prophet ﷺ ordered a man and his wife to invoke curses on each other, he ordered a man to put his hand on his mouth when he came to the fifth utterance, saying that it would be the deciding one. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2255)  

الكبرى للنسائي:٥٦٣٦أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ الرَّقِّيُّ عَنْ سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَمَرَ رَجُلًا حِينَ أَمَرَ الْمُتَلَاعِنَيْنِ أَنْ يَتَلَاعَنَا أَنْ يَضَعَ يَدَهُ عِنْدَ الْخَامِسَةِ عَلَى فِيهِ وَقَالَ «إِنَّهَا مُوجِبَةٌ»
