This hadith has been transmitted by Nafi' with the same chain of narrators.  

مسلم:٧٢٣b – وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى وَقُتَيْبَةُ وَابْنُ رُمْحٍ عَنِ اللَّيْثِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ح وَحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ نَافِعٍ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ كَمَا قَالَ

مَالِكٌ

I always concealed it, but I found that it became known widely, that is, the tradition on Ibn Busr about fasting on Saturday. Abu Dawud said: Malik said: This is a false (tradition).

مَالِكٌ هَذَا كَذِبٌ

فِي قَوْلِهِ ﷻ {وَالصَّافَّاتِ صَفًّا} [الصافات 1] قَالَ الْمَلَائِكَةُ {فَالزَّاجِرَاتِ زَجْرًا} [الصافات 2] قَالَ «الْمَلَائِكَةُ» {فَالتَّالِيَاتِ ذِكْرًا} [الصافات 3] قَالَ «الْمَلَائِكَةُ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ على شرط البخاري ومسلم
