There is no harm in narrating from Children of Israel

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Convey (my teachings) to the people even if it were a single sentence, and tell others the stories of Bani Israel (which have been taught to you), for it is not sinful to do so. And whoever tells a lie on me intentionally, will surely take his place in the (Hell) Fire."  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ بَلِّغُوا عَنِّي وَلَوْ آيَةً وَحَدِّثُوا عَنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَلاَ حَرَجَ وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَىَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ  

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever tells a lie about me deliberately, let him take his place in Hell.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 584)   

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ قَالَ حَسِبْتُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ  

‘Whoever lies upon me intentionally, then let him take his seat in the Fire’. (Using translation from Muslim 3)  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ اتَّقُوا الْحَدِيثَ عَنِّي إِلا مَا عَلِمْتُمْ قَالَ وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَى الْقُرْآنِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ  

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Convey from me, even if it be an Ayah, and narrate from the Children of Isra'il, and there is no harm, And whoever lies upon me purposely, then let him take his seat in the Fire." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2669)   

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ حَدِّثُوا عَنِّي وَلَا تَكْذِبُوا عَلَيَّ وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَقَدْ تَبَوَّأَ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ وَحَدِّثُوا عَنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَلَا حَرَجَ  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not write anything from me except the Quran. Whoever writes anything from me other than the Quran, let him erase it." He also said, "Narrate from the Children of Israel, and there is no harm in narrating from me, but do not fabricate against me." He added, "Whoever fabricates against me, let him prepare himself a seat in Hellfire."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تَكْتُبُوا عَنِّي شَيْئًا غَيْرَ الْقُرْآنِ فَمَنْ كَتَبَ عَنِّي شَيْئًا غَيْرَ الْقُرْآنِ فَلْيَمْحُهُ وَقَالَ حَدِّثُوا عَنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَلَا حَرَجَ حَدِّثُوا عَنِّي وَلَا تَكْذِبُوا عَلَيَّ قَالَ وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ قَالَ هَمَّامٌ أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ  

Do not take down anything from me, and he who took down anything from me except the Qur'an, he should efface that and narrate from me, for there is no harm in it and he who attributed any falsehood to me-and Hammam said: I think he also said:" deliberately" -he should in fact find his abode in the Hell-Fire. (Using translation from Muslim 3004)   

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تَكْتُبُوا عَنِّي شَيْئًا إِلَّا الْقُرْآنَ فَمَنْ كَتَبَ عَنِّي شَيْئًا فَلْيَمْحُهُ وَقَالَ حَدِّثُوا عَنِّي وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ  

"لاَ تَكْتُبُوا عنِّى إِلَّا القُرآنَ، فَمَنْ كَتبَ عنِّى غَيْرَ القُرآنِ فَليمْحُهُ، وَحَدثوا عَنْ بَنِى إِسْرَائِيلَ وَلاَ حَرَجَ، وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ فَليَتَبَؤَأ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ".  

"لاَ تَكْتُبُوا عَنى شَيْئًا إِلَّا القُرآنَ، فَمَن كَتَبَ عنِّى غَيْرَ القُرآنِ فَليَمْحُهُ، وَحَدثوا عنِّى وَلاَ حَرَجَ، وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَى مُتَعَمدًا فَليَتَبَوأ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّار".
