Never could the family of Muhammad ﷺ (afford to eat) the bread of wheat for two days successively. Even (out of these two days) one (was such wherein he could get) only a date.  

مسلم:٢٩٧١ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ عَنْ هِلاَلِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

مَا شَبِعَ آلُ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ يَوْمَيْنِ مِنْ خُبْزِ بُرٍّ إِلاَّ وَأَحَدُهُمَا تَمْرٌ

“The family of Muhammad ﷺ never ate their fill of barley bread until he was taken (i.e. died).”

مَا شَبِعَ آلُ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ مِنْ خُبْزِ الشَّعِيرِ حَتَّى قُبِضَ

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ did not fill his stomach with coarse bread until he gave it to his face.
