[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ did not fill his stomach with coarse bread until he gave it to his face.  

أحمد:١٩٩٦٩ – حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا رَجُلٌ وَالرَّجُلُ كَانَ يُسَمَّى فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَمْرَو بْنَ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو رَجَاءٍ الْعُطَارِدِيُّ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ

مَا شَبِعَ آلُ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ مِنْ خُبْزِ بُرٍّ مَأْدُومٍ حَتَّى مَضَى لِوَجْهِهِ

Never could the family of Muhammad ﷺ (afford to eat to the fill) the bread of wheat beyond three days (successively).  

مسلم:٢٩٧٠d – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَابِسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

مَا شَبِعَ آلُ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ مِنْ خُبْزِ بُرٍّ فَوْقَ ثَلاَثٍ  

muslim:2970e – Abū Bakr b. Abū Shaybah > Ḥafṣ b. Ghiyāth > Hishām b. ʿUrwah from his father

Never could the family of Muhammad (may peace. be upon him) (afford to eat) the bread of wheat for three (successive days) until he ran the course of his life.  

مسلم:٢٩٧٠e – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَتْ

عَائِشَةُ مَا شَبِعَ آلُ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ مِنْ خُبْزِ الْبُرِّ ثَلاَثًا حَتَّى مَضَى لِسَبِيلِهِ  

muslim:2971 – Abū Kurayb > Wakīʿ > Misʿar > Hilāl b. Ḥumayd > ʿUrwah > ʿĀʾishah

Never could the family of Muhammad ﷺ (afford to eat) the bread of wheat for two days successively. Even (out of these two days) one (was such wherein he could get) only a date.  

مسلم:٢٩٧١ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ عَنْ هِلاَلِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

مَا شَبِعَ آلُ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ يَوْمَيْنِ مِنْ خُبْزِ بُرٍّ إِلاَّ وَأَحَدُهُمَا تَمْرٌ  

ibnmajah:3346 – Muḥammad b. Bashhār > Muḥammad b. Jaʿfar > Shuʿbah > Abū Isḥāq > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Yazīd > al-Aswad > ʿĀʾishah

“The family of Muhammad ﷺ never ate their fill of barley bread until he was taken (i.e. died).”
