انْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِلْقَتَيْنِ فَسَتَرَ الْجَبَلُ فِلْقَةً وَكَانَتْ فِلْقَةٌ فَوْقَ الْجَبَلِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ اللَّهُمَّ اشْهَدْ

During the lifetime of Messenger of Allah ﷺ the moon was split into two parts; one part remained over the mountain, and the other part went beyond the mountain. On that, Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Witness this miracle."  

البخاري:٤٨٦٤ – حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ شُعْبَةَ وَسُفْيَانَ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ

انْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِرْقَتَيْنِ فِرْقَةً فَوْقَ الْجَبَلِ وَفِرْقَةً دُونَهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ اشْهَدُوا  

hakim:3759 – Ibrāhīm b. Marzūq al-Baṣrī Bimiṣr > Abū Dāwud al-Ṭayālisī > Shuʿbah > al-Aʿmash > Mujāhid

[Machine] This happened during the time of the Prophet ﷺ : The moon split into two halves, with one half on one side of the mountain and the other half behind the mountain. The Prophet ﷺ said, "O Allah, bear witness." As for the hadith of Jubair, it is authentic.  

الحاكم:٣٧٥٩ – فَحَدَّثْنَاهُ أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ بِمِصْرَ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو

فِي قَوْلِهِ ﷻ {اقْتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَةُ وَانْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ} [القمر 1] قَالَ كَانَ ذَلِكَ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ انْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ فِلْقَتَيْنِ فِلْقَةٌ مِنْ دُونِ الْجَبَلِ وَفِلْقَةٌ خَلْفَ الْجَبَلِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «اللَّهُمَّ اشْهَدْ» وَأَمَّا حَدِيثُ جُبَيْرٍ صحيح

[Machine] The moon split during the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ into two halves; one half was above the mountain, and the other half was covered by the mountain. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "O Allah, bear witness."
